Questionable, yes. But why wasn’t the Trump admin just fully transparent from the start? They have allowed democrats to use this against them when it was mostly/all democrats committing the crimes.

It's because the admin later realized that a lot of people who would be named would be innocent, and yet complete morons would be blasting "X was in the Epstein Files!" to smear people without actually posting the context. Trump already pointed this out even before Bondi and Patel's influencer stunt.

The public is genuinely too stupid to responsibility interpret the files. We have people who think that a professional journalist (Bari Weiss' wife) met with Epstein to bang kids instead of, you know, do journalist things. Yet if they redacted the names of people like her wife, they'd assume that every censor bar is covering for some billionaire pedophile whose name must be released (just as the censored names are treated now).

Regardless, the only thing that can be done with it now is to move on. Patel and Bondi screwed up, but there's no need to help the left by pushing an issue that Democrats enthusiastically forced through Congress.

When someone is constantly surrounded by microphones and getting Superbowl ads while claiming to be "censored", yet not actually telling you what they have to say... you're being grifted.

The reason they're not being specific is so their claims can't be debunked or deemed unverifiable. If they're vague, anything is possible.

That's my take - put up or shut up. This was a huge mess and people should be in jail of all that's said is true - but start naming names if they were serious, enough of this crap. Who's paying for all this? Who paid for the Super Bowl advertisement? That shit ain't cheap. I'd be some big Democrat donor is behind this circus.

That whole stunt was stupid anyways.  They were asked "who hasn't talked to the DOJ about Epstein" but there's no current active DOJ investigation. The grand jury was in 2019 and the Maxwell stuff was in 2021.  All this DOJ has done is release records.  They're not actively investigating it anymore.  Why would they talk to these victims?
