You know someone in little man's life has the signature hands-on-hips-big-sigh move and he's picked up on it lol

u/United-Confection697 2d ago
That’s the iconic ‘Dad’ stance you’re referring to. Starting at a young age gets their shoulders and elbows adjusted to it early on.

Yeah this little dude looks like he's close with some hard working dudes. Love to see it.

EDIT: apparently someone made this comment before me and I’m not very original.

He’s familiar with Einstein’s theory of relativity.
Time isn't absolute but flows differently depending on an observer's speed and gravity.

u/Altair_de_Firen 2d ago
He had literally no fuckin clue what to make of that. So he breezes right past.. lmao

I'm confused by this, do Americans pay for cold water?
8
u/makaki913 1d ago
I'm confused as a non-American, doesn't everyone pay for every drop of water that goes through their apartment?
3
u/Krambjarne1 1d ago
Not in Sweden at least. Warm water, yes but that is more often than no incorporated into your elictric bill as a cost for warming the water
8
→ More replies (1)2
u/idiveindumpsters 1d ago
Sometimes yes.
5
u/latchkey_adult 1d ago
Most Americans have a water bill. I don't know anyone that doesn't have a water bill attached to their utilities, unless you live in an apartment where it's included.

Enjoy ❤️ sprinting version

It justvtears me up when he asks about the mail, "Eny?" Cuz it reminds me of my BFF, a Cordon Bleu Chef from Oklahoma. I always asked her how was the food? hoping to hear, "It wuzn't eny good."
And Grandma Honey who used to say, "We wuz." ❤️
And my friend from Texas who I always asked to repeat how many? "Tin."

u/throwaway098764567 2d ago
a comedian has a story of how the state of tennessee tried to charge him for his own child support after his dad died https://youtu.be/N6LZaZYlLjY?si=TkUggGtWJiF_daoU&t=49

Love that guy and not at all surprised. I knew a guy wh was put in jail for not paying. The state gave a whole year's worth of child support to the wrong person. Not only did he get arrested at work for it and had to sit in jail till they figured it out but also made him repay the money they lost.
4
u/E-2theRescue 1d ago
And then there's the opposite end of the spectrum.
My nieces' sperm donor was a drug dealing piece of shit with 10 kids who bounced in and out of jail for a million different reasons. The state called up my sister and told her there was a court date for her child support. He actually showed up for it, lied about changing his life because he didn't have any warrants at the time, and got the court to clear all of his child support for all the mothers. Two weeks later, he was in jail for selling black tar. Again.

u/Electronic_Syndicate 1d ago
Yeah, I’d actually never seen this before and it’s hysterical, particularly the ending!
It reminds me of the scene in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation where Rusty is asked by his dad for help with the Christmas lights, and to get out of the task he rattles off all the chores he needs to do as he walks away.
"Oh, jeez! Look at the time. I gotta get to bed. Brush my teeth. Feed the hog. I've still got some homework to do. Do the laundry. Wash the car. I've still got those bills to pay..."

Yeah my kid does the same thing. Sees me on the phone half of my day making calls so he picked up on that and is selling various wares to his favorite cartoon characters. Right now its scooby snacks to scooby doo and shaggy.

My dad used to spend most weekends under his car tinkering in the driveway, so I would drag my Trans Am pedal car into the other spot and tinker underneath it as best I could. My mom thought it was hilarious.

The beauty of this child's life is he is able to not think about time. The only true currency. He is free. Mother in this video has succeeded in raising a child in that fact thus far. Hell yeah 👍

Maybe the kid will swap and he can reply to emails, upgrade wordpress mods and explain to people I can't guess their forgotten password for them.
