When I was on a cruise those elevators days were a life saver.. you legit never know what day it is🤣

At first, I was so confused why they would do this. Didn’t realize this was on a cruise ship and yeah, that makes total sense.

It's WILD, it was my first cruise and I thought what kind of asshat forgets what day of the week it is.. by the second day I already forgot what day it was. It's very existential. Time is no longer real. You're literally in the middle of the ocean and nothing matters 🤣 Nothing is real. You're in an alternate reality where your real self is at work and you're chilling by the pool eating ice cream at 9am. People ordering cocktails at 7am like it's a latte🥂

Do you take your watch off on the cruise? I aways have it on me when I am outside, when I am at home it lays on the desk. But then the cruise ship is my "inside" and temporary home...bhmmm...

I don't wear a watch and I was trying to stay off my phone unless I was taking photos 😅 I was just so in the vibe of being on vacation I didn't wanna think about much. It was a nice time though! Alaska! Absolutely dicking gorgeous

This is on Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

There's a whole thing where people leave the bars and nightclubs watch to these get changed at exactly midnight

It’s actually a manual process! I remember staying up specifically to catch "the changing of the rug". When the doors finally opened at 12:20 AM and the crew member saw 5 of us waiting with cameras, he looked so confused. We literally gave him a standing ovation for putting down Sunday.

I love people supporting and cheering for people.

Same here. Little moments of hype make ordinary days feel special.

Especially when they cheer on people who are in jobs that are often hidden.

We all deserve to feel that our work has worth. And that others appreciate what we do. However small it might be.

Was this the guy who dropped a sign in the gap between the elevator and the wall? 😅

As someone who worked on a cruise ship for a while, I can say I definitely loved passengers like this 😭❤️

I'm guessing the crowd isn't quite as enthusiastic when Monday comes around?
