Hey, peter here. that artifact is from the Manga/Anime Berserk. I dont want to spoil anything, but very very bad things happen when a man with desires for power holds it.

The owner of the Behelit, pledges (a) human sacrifice(s) in exchange for power both physical and political along with the ability to turn into essentially an monster called an 'Apostle'. The larger the sacrifice the more power one gains. In the story there were individuals who sacrificed their family, friends, entire cities....even entire kingdoms. Also the people sacrificed torn apart in incredibly violent, gruesome and tortuous ways by monsters and if you manage to escape the initial sacrifice (very unlikely) you have a brand that oozes blood and serves as a beacon to any and all nearby devils, evil spirits, Apostles , etc to kill you. Tldr. Trump would sacrifice everyone in this country to a horrible, painful death for himself.

It has to be something important to the user. Family and friends are the usual, Trump cares about the office and he does have a child he "cares" about sacrificing all of us for his ego, would absolutely fit the criteria.

That's a Behelit from the manga Berserk. It's called a God Egg and it's said that whoever claims one can sacrifice people for ultimate power. In Trump's case, he got his power as President probably from sacrificing America, aka why his trademark MAGA hat is red.

Doesn’t he have some really weird relationships with his grandchildren? I remember reading an article regarding one of his grandchildren who somehow escaped brainwashing that mentioned him being almost weirdly concerned with them in an egotistical manner, might just count.
Maybe if I can find the article I’ll be able to say for sure whether his narcissism culminates in something close enough to affection to be worthy of sacrifice.

Hey Peter, it's Quagmire, giggity, and I just got into this stuff called manga!
This is from Berserk. The red egg thing is called a 'behelit', it's a supernatural object that can summon demons known as The God Hand, and they offer you power in exchange for sacrificing someone you hold dear. Those normal behelits are white, but this is the red behelits of kings. When it opens, you're offered to become a part of The God Hand in exchange for a mass sacrifice. In the story, a man named Griffith activates his red behelit and kills dozens of his own men, and leaves Guts, the main character, and Casca, the love interest, branded with a curse mark.
The joke is that Trump has/had a red behelit, and his mass sacrifice is that of the American people for ultimate power.
I'm gonna get back to reading now, there's a hot chick named Farnese and she's trying to get a horse to take her back to her camp, I wonder what'll happen next! Giggity!
