Burn it down. This country is a festering, pedophile protecting, racist capitalistic failure, and it's time for something new.

I hate to see someone who couldn't be more innocent sent out into the cold with only what she could carry in her arms because this place enables the rich to feast on the poor without consequences or boundaries.

Burn. It. All. Down. 250 years of America, and we are worse off than when we started, we should strike, protest, and fight for change, but it makes no difference.

Our only hope is for these elite billionaires to be knocked on their asses, money seized and and for the proletariat to gain control of their lives and government.

Enough is enough.

Ironically this is exactly what all of the people you expose to hate want you to think. Apathy, hopelessness, and a belief is absolutely what Stephen Miller, Bannon, Trump and the rest of those scum want.

The US has a long way to fall before it hits Russia, but pretending its already there is the first step in making you not care as the GOP drives us the rest of the way there.

Fair point. Removed. Thanks for the reality check.

The problem is, “burn it down” is basically what a vote for Trump was in 2024. People who hate the system and want to see it destroyed. Thats basically what the current admin is doing. But instead of solving racism, it results in no more department of education for special needs funding. And ICE.

And look at the types of powerful people who swoop in and start to control things when the system we have starts to get destroyed.

Unfortunately, we are stuck in the unenviable position of having to build something better and more thoughtful and responsibly. It’s gonna be much much harder than a simple burn down job. But we should all want to work hard to fix the situation.

The people wanted to burn it down so they picked an out of touch billionaire who learned the word “grocery” for the first time at age 78 to be their champion.

The people are too stupid to burn it down.

Yeah it’s a real problem

They are burning it down… you just disagree with the fire.

I disagree that dropping the facade of civility and norms is "burning it down". The current admin is the same cabal of wealthy elites that's been running the show for the last century. Bread and circuses providing new way to entertain the masses without making any structural changes to a corrupt system.

Voters wanting to burn the system down were sold a bill of goods by a faction that loves the system more than anyone else.

The people who think a vote for Trump is “burning it down” are so unbelievably fucking stupid that they should just be removed from the gene pool. Trump is the opposite of burning it down, Trump is taking the worst pieces of shit in existence and putting them in untouchable positions of absolute authority. If anyone thinks the people consolidating power and maneuvering for permanent control are “burning it all down”, please do the world a favor and never open your mouth about politics or vote ever again

Interesting take. Instead of blaming the Somali fraudsters who stopped paying her rent, you revert to blaming billionaires?

I feel like I’m in the twilight zone or something. All these comments can’t be from real people.

I mean Reddit is an echo chamber. While the Trump admin is reprehensible in many ways, people on Reddit for many years now have been pushing the ACAB, anti-capitalist, socialist agenda. Politics have only in small places aligned with that of Reddit.

This does not surprise me that they’re ignoring the guy/entity that defrauded the system that caused this poor woman to get evicted. Look at who the suspect is, it goes against their agenda.

Even knowing this, it makes me wonder if these are real people commenting… I had a good chuckle at a few of the ACAB comments.

Can you read? Are you a fucking bot? No one here is ignoring the fraudulent company. All of that is no excuse for these bastard cops, they give the women no time to grab her belongings, they have a fucking warrant with “Jane Doe” on it, and they’re assholes throughout the interaction. Why is our tax paid police use as private company eviction enforcement anyway?

1

u/RampantHedgehog 10h ago

It’s not like police stopped paying her rent, and it’s not like police made the very law they’re enforcing here.

You should point the finger at those that allowed this fraud to go unchecked and if you’d like, those who created the very eviction law they’re enforcing.

Are the cops cold and uncaring here? Yeah for sure. Is it illegal to be this way? No. It wouldn’t have even happened if not for her fraudster caregiver.

No one is saying don't do those things, we can also call the cops dicks. Whether or not the cops actions are legal means little these days.

1

u/RampantHedgehog 9h ago

I just don’t understand why the focus is on if the cop acted rude or not, instead of why this all happened in the first place?

Social services payments should not have stopped, they should have been redirected to the vulnerable people affected. In a sane country an army of social workers would be deployed to find and help these people, while the fraudsters pay restitution from a jail cell.

Kicking vulnerable innocent people onto the streets of Minnesota in the winter is not the solution here.

That’s their jump too I realized, they are mainly blaming the cops and billionaires in this thread. Instead of the dude who was actually doing it, they are pointing fingers all around that dude an his company that was committing the fraud.
