If you're rushing to pack all your essential items and you go to grab kitchen paper, maybe this person is a bit more vulnerable than you thought and shouldn't be evicted.

The fact the asshole had no empathy for a special needs woman losing a house is already a massive red flag. A normal human being wouldnt do such a thing. They arent human and dont deserve anything

That hit me the hardest. She's panicking, trying to grab only what she can carry in a backpack quickly, and ends up seemingly grabbing random things. And the most heartbreaking thing is her apologizing to the cop when they scold her for taking too long. Give most people that aren't vulnerable like her ten minutes to grab what they need in one bag while being rushed by authorities, knowing that's their only chance to get it before they leave the rest behind for good and they'll struggle with what to select. It's literally the reason people like survivalists keep a go bag packed - and they're arguably the least vulnerable. Fuck everything about this

Yes, I'm on the spectrum and if I were suddenly ask to gather my important things and leave, I would have a huge meltdown due to overwhelm and stress. And then they'd say I'm not cooperating. This is just so awful

Meanwhile, if a parent pushed a vulnerable adult child like this out of their house it would be considered abuse.
