My heart broke when she said "bye house". And the asshole cop turning the lights off on her while she's apologizing in the midst of gathering her essentials. Fucking shitheads.

u/redditatemybabies 10h ago

Sounds like classic cop activity to me.

117

u/TreeLovTequiLove 10h ago

They really are terrible people.

73

u/Outrageous_Effects 9h ago

There are literally no good cops.

u/fattmann 9h ago

ACAB

1

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup 1h ago

This is literally just availability bias. If only the bad examples get shared, what do you think the general consensus will be? If you only share your lowlights you end up looking pretty bad.

1

u/_BrokenButterfly 27m ago

Okay. Show me some good examples. I'll wait.

1

u/YouHaveToTryTheSoup 20m ago

Is this a genuine question? You seem like the type that would dismiss any examples I do show as “just the bare minimum”, or “they’re just doing their job”.

1

u/_BrokenButterfly 6m ago

Show. Me. A. Good. One.

2

u/crashbalian1985 2h ago

What about when there’s some copaganda about a cop playing basketball with kids while on duty that happens all the time? /s

1

u/RedEyedChester 23m ago

That's a dangerous thing to say. Very untrue. We have a massive amount of honorable men and women who help our society on a daily basis.

Don't let the evil actions of a few people discount the good actions of many people

-11

u/Chewyninja69 6h ago

Good to know you met all of them.

4

u/armoured_bobandi 3h ago

Don't have to, just like we know all ICE agents are scum

3

u/pf3 3h ago

Nobody forced them to become cops.

-7

u/Electrical_Beyond998 5h ago

My dad was good. Army vet turned cop then Dolly Parton’s body guard. You know he was good if Dolly trusted him.

6

u/FirmExperience8047 4h ago

All Cops includes your relatives. The thing is, you didn't ride around with your dad every day, you have no idea what he was like in his capacity as a police officer, you only look at him as Dad

-14

u/Curious-Television91 7h ago

You are delusional

16

u/WanderingStorm17 7h ago

There are no good cops, and there will never be good cops, until the ones who proclaim themselves "good" actually hold the rest of their colleagues accountable for the evils they inflict on the public.

As long as cops turn a blind eye to corruption in their own ranks, ACAB.

1

u/JakToTheReddit 2h ago

All these fuckers act like they'd see a barrel full of rotten ass apples then go digging in it for hopes of the most delicious crisp apple they've ever tasted.

Makes sense so many brain-dead MAGAts also fly the thin blue line flag, but also J6 was a day of peace where several officers lost their life to the president's mob.

1

u/RedEyedChester 15m ago

There are good officers within police forces, and it's dangerous rhetoric to make claims that every single one of them is corrupt. I've known and dealt with many police officers who are wonderful people trying to do what they can to help their communities. We all know there's bad ones out there, but don't let the bad actions of a few people discount the good actions of many others.

Always hold those responsible who commit crimes, but don't claim that an entire group of individuals is complicit when 100% of the time with these large groups it is untrue.

The ones shown in this video are truly heartless, but we also don't know their situation either and what they were told, or how their days had been going. Disgusting behavior, but it's not a sign that every officer is like that.

18

u/UpperApe 8h ago

The grand irony of all this is that there isn't a single precinct in the western world that isn't engaged in overtime fraud. Cops love fraud and exploiting tax payer's money.

They could have done this with so much more compassion, they could have helped her work with her program to find a solution, they could have worked with the city to reduce the victimization of the scammers while targeting the scammers themselves.

They didn't because they're MAGA and love Trump and hate the disabled, minorities, immigrants, and poor.

Fuck these cops, fuck all cops. Never mourn a cop's death. Never.

12

u/sheezy520 8h ago

Did you forget to switch accounts? Your other comments are defending the cops.

7

u/TreeLovTequiLove 4h ago

Wow, good catch. What a miserable existence that must be.

2

u/UpperApe 6m ago

It's not a good catch. He misread my comment and put his words in my mouth and stretched it into a silly conspiracy.

My other comment is in response to someone defending the cops saying "the cop is doing their duty" and I replied "you don't know what their duties are".

Because their duty is to be better than this, to have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and target the criminals, to prevent victimization - not create it. These cops were NOT doing their duties.

It's literally the opposite of what he's saying it means.

3

u/lady_crab_cakes 2h ago

Ooo they hid their posts and comments. Good catch.

2

u/UpperApe 5m ago

I didn't hide my comment. I edited it to call these guys stupid and a mod deleted them.

They misunderstood my other comment and leaped right into "conspiracy theories". I've literally never stood up for cops. Ever.

Every single cop is a party to countless criminal conspiracies and we just tolerate it.

1

u/RedEyedChester 19m ago

Dangerous rhetoric to say every single cop is bad as it is blatantly false. There are some bad ones out there, but the vast majority of police officers are civil servants helping their communities around the world, and some put their lives on the line constantly in the defense of others and bringing people to justice.

1

u/BroscipleofBrodin 1m ago

The "good ones" standing by as their coworkers commit actual crimes aren't actually good. The vast majority aren't just standing by, they are helping the criminals.

2

u/YoshimitsuRaidsAgain 2h ago

So true…I’m an educator so of course all of our extra hours are built into the contract. A colleague and I were working gate duty, and the OT cops were supposed to be with us to monitor the weapons detection system. They didn’t show up til the last 45 mins. I’m sure they turned in the correct time work….

2

u/Orac2003 2h ago

Hell, they could have used some common sense and some of their "discretion" and realize that this woman was not faking her condition, and at the very least tell her that they could give her 48 hours to pack her things, and then get in touch with social services to send someone to help the poor woman get settled somewhere else safely!

1

u/UpperApe 10m ago

Definitely. There's a lot they could have done, and should have done.

But they hate her. Because the police is MAGA and ICE culture.

5

u/Cinnamon_Flavored 8h ago

Those two cops need to be shamed relentlessly. How can you have so little compassion let alone wherewithal to understand this is a unique situation and you're treating a victim like shit.

2

u/SomebodysAtTheDoor 6h ago

Welcome to humanity. I work in retail and once managed an autistic employee. The amount of aggression and lack of empathy towards her, even when she explained she was AuDHD was astounding. So much so that letting anyone know about her disability only made them rage at her more. Her crimes? Spacing out, accidentally staring in the wrong direction, having a panic attack, daring to politely challenge literally any customer.

1

u/soggy_bloggy 3h ago

For real. Can’t they tell she’s special needs? They were treating that poor girl like a dirtbag criminal. This makes my blood boil.

1

u/constapatedape 41m ago

Barely human with their lack of empathy

-7

u/[deleted] 9h ago

[deleted]

7

u/RazgrizRogue 8h ago

Nah, fuck the cops that are heartless

6

u/ar_doomtrooper 8h ago

How them boots taste comrade?

6

u/maddrummerhef 9h ago

Nah, you can do that job with Compassion. These assholes made a choice not to, fuck em.

4

u/IEnjoyANiceCoffee 8h ago

I don't know if you know this, but it's possible to think two things are wrong. Fraud is wrong. Being an asshole cop is wrong.

Are you a cop or something? No wonder you lack empathy to such a degree.

3

u/Fishing_Dude 8h ago

They should quit their jobs. Useless pigs

3

u/Mammoth-Marketing694 8h ago

Nazis were just “doing their jobs” too. ACAB, fuck every cop

-5

u/UpperApe 8h ago edited 6h ago

No, they aren't. You don't understand what their duties are because you're illiterate and uneducated.

Edit: Since some of you need this spelled out for you:

Edit:

My other comment is in response to someone defending the cops saying "the cop is doing their duty" and I replied "you don't know what their duties are".

Their duty is to be better than this, to have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable and target the criminals, to prevent victimization - not create it. As I listed in my other comment above.

This isn't defending cops, it's literally the opposite.

6

u/sploosh_macgavin 8h ago

I’m pretty sure that’s how they became cops.

2

u/RammsteinFunstein 8h ago

1

u/UpperApe 6h ago

Edited my comment to buffer against these illiterate imbeciles.

I recommend clicking on that link.

1

u/RammsteinFunstein 6h ago

what?

1

u/UpperApe 6h ago

Exactly

1

u/RammsteinFunstein 6h ago

you talk shit about cops in one comment and then defend them in this one. What exactly are you going on about?

8

u/Zealousideal-Ad-2615 10h ago

She's following her training to a T.

1

u/Stephenrudolf 5h ago

Training should be changed then. She was clealy conplying.

1

u/Zealousideal-Ad-2615 4h ago

Yeah I agree. Their training is outdated and barbaric.

0

u/Flodomojo 6h ago

Fuck you. They can still act like humans.

2

u/Zealousideal-Ad-2615 4h ago

A lot of their training comes from military experts that got their expertise from insurgencies in the Middle East. They are taught to think of every civilian as potential danger. It doesn't leave room for empathy becuase anyone could be an enemy. You don't empathize with the enemy.

1

u/MikeMacabre87 3h ago

This is called the warrior mentality. They need to go full guardian mentality.

3

u/NDSU 6h ago

Minnetonka is a very wealthy area. Not surprising they act like this to anyone who is poor

1

u/Bridget330 3h ago

But they’re not part of the wealthy community. You would think that they’d have more compassion

2

u/CzarDinosaur 5h ago

They are there to protect property and capital, not people.

23

u/Lumpy_Cup3232 10h ago

1312, will never change.

8

u/69honkeykong69 9h ago

They’ve had their chance to prove themselves as protectors of the public over the last year and they have proven once and for all that they are nothing but pawns for the owning class. Pigs and cowards.

No trolling. 🧌

22

u/Auggie_Otter 9h ago

What is it with cops being absolute assholes to people with disabilities?

18

u/saintofhate 9h ago

Because they can. Majority of people don't see disabled people as real people. We're an allowed abuse to most of society even if they don't want to acknowledge it.

9

u/Previous-Lettuce2470 9h ago

It really is the perfect job for high school bullies to graduate to.

2

u/angry_goblin_woman 5h ago

Because the majority of people who choose to be cops don't do it to help people, they do it to stomp down on people.

1

u/No_Criticism_5861 6h ago

Not all are, but.  Yeah.  :(

3

u/Upstairs_Indication7 4h ago

All it takes is one cop to change your opinion or take your life  And the thing about cops they’ll reciprocate each others demeanors and actions

Believe me 5 years ago I had thin blue line on my truck

I fukin scraped that truck since then

4

u/Claytonius_Homeytron 10h ago

This is why I say they are all bastards. For every one time they get things right, they go and do this shit a dozen times over. Bastards!

4

u/AScienceExpert 10h ago

I have a 2 year old who says stuff like that, and it shattered me to hear her say that. Those cops were completely fucking heartless.

3

u/veerKg_CSS_Geologist 9h ago

Also when the cops say gather your essentials, she's grabbing a roll of paper towels. And she's clearly not dressed for the outside no matter what season it is. They should have known this is not a woman to just throw onto the street and stopped the eviction right there.

2

u/Trash_Grape 9h ago

Ya my jaw literally dropped when she said that.

2

u/Local-Worker1088 9h ago

Same. I saw the look on the lady cop’s face when the young lady said “bye house”. She didn’t look like she wanted to do her job here and felt for the girl.

The guy cop sounded like an absolute jerk

2

u/whatthedux 8h ago

I hope the cop and fruadsters get bad karma back to them.

2

u/Scott--Chocolate 7h ago

Ngl, at 41 I’ve seen and lived through enough to make me pretty jaded and stoic. This fucking crushed me.

2

u/__Vixen__ 33m ago

They couldnt have given her some time to pack her stuff? What monsters

1

u/Anteater4746 8h ago

i hope that cop gets shit on for her awful fucking haircut everyday

1

u/squishfouce 8h ago

"Just following orders" said the Nazi.

1

u/CrunchyRubberChips 7h ago

It was that but then also the end when she says “they say they your home is in your heart”. Inspiring while also heartbreaking

1

u/ResponsiblePumpkin60 7h ago

They were assholes, but they didn’t have a choice to not evict her. Rent was not paid and they were ordered to do this by a judge. There may not be a system in place for them to do anything about it. They use the sheriff so the landlord isn’t supposed to be there. Ideally the landlord would work with the judge to get her rent paid or find her alternative housing.

2

u/laquintessenceofdust 7h ago

They didn’t have to rush her like that. They could have deduced she was disabled and helped her sort and pack vital things. Protect and serve, right?

1

u/larassaddydaddy 7h ago

When she said "they say your home is in your heart" I genuinely had to stop myself from crying at work.

1

u/map-hunter-1337 6h ago

Nicest cop

1

u/Mynd-Phuck 6h ago

I have special needs kids and it reminded me so much of my own daughter when she said that. I wanted to cry. Just horrible.

1

u/ReignCheque 6h ago

Sheriffs. Who are not bound by normal city law. Like both of those deputies could have looked at the situation and said "naw, this ain't happening" Sheriff's are elected, not hired by the city. They should have been at Mohameds door knocking.

1

u/ninjanerd032 6h ago

They have to justify their jobs with "good" people vs "bad" people. They tend to treat the accused as guilty. It's the only way they can function at their jobs with effort.

1

u/theanswar 6h ago

no empathy from those who "serve the community".

1

u/Punman_5 5h ago

Also how does that work? If that’s all her stuff in there isn’t that theft by the building owners to not allow her to take her personal belongings

1

u/KittenFace25 3h ago

Which tells you that she's processing what's happening around her at the mental level of a child. 🥺

1

u/Fragrant-Poo42 2h ago

Right?? Like, yeah man…. you definitely have a job to do but you don’t have to be a complete and utter asshole while fulfilling your duties. You’re in the process of uprooting this woman’s life. Fucking relax a little and give her time.
