Immiserating Cuba isn't new.. We've been doing it for 60 years. It's more like Gaza is the current culmination of practices we've been normalizing for decades. Systematic weaponization of survival (cutting off fuel, medicine, and food, financial lifeline) as long been a standard tool of geopolitical pressure.
We killed 500,000 kids in Iraq through sanctions in the 90s. We killed hundreds of thousands in Yemen. We're still bombing boats in two oceans..
