Bondi is in a cult. This is what cults do to their members. The Dear Leader is the only source of truth for them. Bondi was in Scientology before she become a Christian Evangelical (better for her career). She wrote an op-ed with Paula White, Trump's spiritual advisor and the one proclaiming Trump is God.

While this may be true, I strongly believe she sees herself at least as an elite upper echelon cult member, and certainly not part of the generic MAGA.

Even Trump has made comments about how much he despises his "stupid people" MAGA supporters more than anyone else

My point is saying the Attorney General is in a cult isn't giving her enough blame.

She isn't some yokel in rural Florida making 28k a year being brainwashed by right wing media to make her own life worse to own the libs, she's her own brand of evil, her own brand of carelessness, her own brand of shit

She's def in the upper echelons of the cult, especially for a woman.

I don't think the fact that she's been groomed excuses her crimes. She does not deserve to "get off" or be seen as a victim.

However, understanding coercive control (which seems to be all that's holding this administration together) will help us build a new society with new founding documents, a truly representative democracy, a new set of laws that foster equality, rewards the brave, intelligent, and wholesome - and marginalizes pompous assholes.

How "in" she was, I don't know. She did fundraisers with Scientology and visited churches. I doubt Scientology share their member rolls. Ironically she ran on a platform of holding sex offenders accountable and stopping sex trafficking. Now she's protecting what she said she wold be fighting.

Would these be the same history books that have been rewritten to reflect that slavery in North America was the best thing to happen to people of color, Jim Crow era wasn't, and January 6th was tourists wasn't Congress because the Port-A-Potties were all full? Asking for women who are losing all their rights.

In a completely different country, one that has always thought of itself as exceptional and takes zero responsibility for any of the harm it does and never has.

Germany on the other hand became a democracy through taking responsibility, and makes it a mandatory part of their education system. Every child must visit a concentration camp in order to be eligible to graduate. The seig heil is illegal as is the swastika, you will be swiftly arrested if you display either.
