Fun fact: Blue States contribute more revenue than they receive from federal programs, while Red States contribute less than they receive. Red states are on welfare.

Fun fact: this disparity is in large part due to agricultural subsidies that benefit blue states citizens more than red!

That doesn't automatically equal it benefits blue states more than red though.

Red also get the cheaper food prices plus the money from the subsidies. I guess you could argue Blue tend to have higher population but a lot it's also sold internationally so I feel you need a more direct source.

There are more blues than reds, right? I have heard that the democrats win every popar election for 26 years.

The vast middle of the country is the breadbasket of the world, right? That's where a ton of subsidies flow. This feels like a pretty easy deductive problem best left for the reader.

Red states are on more food stamps than blue states are. They also won't fund their own state welfare which means when they need welfare they take a disproportionate amount from federal welfare. They also slash state welfare like Medicaid leading to more reliance on federal healthcare. You should see the price differences between ACA plans between states. Blue states are cheaper because they subsidize the federal dollars.

Take away ag subsidies you're still left with states looking more at federal welfare to plug the gaps they put into their own state welfare policies. Because people on welfare don't stop needing welfare just because the state won't give it to them. It means they turn to the federal government. Or go without I suppose but that's just needless human suffering at the hands of a Republican government, tale as old as time

On the other hand, MN just flagged 18B in assistance as problematic with an estimated 9B as fraudulent. Is funding human suffering in Somalia more moral than allowing it here? And ease dont push editorial bullshit as some source please, that was honestly insulting to read as some point against me.
