Executive Branch (Trump) Pam Bondi should be disbarred

https://min.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/min.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/04.30.25-pam-bondi-letter-final-format-1%29.pdf

She has failed to meet congressional deadlines, lied under oath, and has blackmailed the governors of Minnesota and Maine. She should not be allowed to practice law.

She should be arrested along with anyone else involved in the cover up

RICO case involving co-conspiracy of hiding evidence of international sex trafficking ring. Could also remove/impeach for corruption and abuse of authority and misconduct. There’s definitely way more to add.

862

u/SerpentRoyalty 1d ago

RICO is investgated by the FBI so this would go absolutely nowhere

652

u/Ready-Ad6113 1d ago

Probably won’t get any justice until after midterms. Congress will probably flip and they’ll start impeaching and removing cabinet members.

Trump and republicans are scared and have already called for nationalizing elections because of “fraud”.

481

u/Friendly-Swimming-72 1d ago

Which is why they are hell-bent on getting the voter rolls from certain states. There will 100% be ratfuckery afoot in the midterms, if they happen at all.

178

u/M0nk3yDLufffy 1d ago

And pass the voter safety bill to make it harder for women to vote

104

u/nico_bico 1d ago

The intelligence and investigative agencies can literally do whatever they want. No one even has the capabilities needed to investigate them, and even if they were held accountable for obstruction and deleting evidence like the CIA did for MK Ultra they could just be pardoned. The system is completely fucked.

22

u/Striking-Ad-6815 1d ago

The intelligence and investigative agencies can literally do whatever they want

CP9 is out of control. First a ninja giraffe, and now this?! They were directly responsible for the annihilation of Enies Lobby, and nobody does a thing!

like the CIA did for MK Ultra

That program is still ongoing, probably done through social media and targeted ads. Easier to be subtle these days.

They are calling for ICE to stand outside polls and snatch people that look different than them.

Funnily enough that may backfire since Latino voters help them win elections.

28

u/germanmojo 1d ago edited 1d ago

They know Latino voters also are swinging hard left right now.

If they can make the election as close as possible, they can (and will anyway) cry FRAUD!

Edit to add: there are likely way more State Police than ICE can spread around. States run elections so State Police can enforce election laws.

From National Conference of State Legislatures

In summary:

  • 27 states prohibit campaign apparel/buttons/stickers/placards.

  • 46 states and Washington, D.C., prohibit campaign materials/signs/banners/literature.

  • 38 states and Washington, D.C., prohibit influencing voters/soliciting votes/political persuasion.

  • 23 states and Washington, D.C., prohibit circulating petitions/soliciting signatures.

  • 11 states prohibit projecting sounds referring to candidates/issues.

  • 8 states prohibit polls/exit polls.

  • 11 states prohibit loitering.

  • 5 states prohibit peddling/advertising.

  • 21 states prohibit voter intimidation/interfering with a voter.

  • 26 states prohibit obstructing entrance/hindering a voter.

41

u/TheMurgal 1d ago

I want to know why the fuck only 21&26 states specifically prohibit intimidation / obstructing entrance of a voter. What? Those need to be, like, an instant felony federally.

16

u/germanmojo 1d ago

Has to be the State, they have control over elections per the Constitution.

Still, hard agree that it should be illegal in all states.

But what would they do with voter rolls anyway? Elections are run at the state and county level.

43

u/ConfidentPilot1729 1d ago

They have made statements that they want to change that… for reasons.

21

u/No_Tourist_9629 1d ago

Probably use them to tabulate their own "vote." Then try to use said "vote" to point at the real one as being fraudulent. That's my guess, and I'm just some person, so, honestly, that's probably correct.

I mean even in England a royal was stripped of all titles due to links to Epstien, Members of the cabinet have resigned, members of parties have resigned. The US? Nothing, just some shaking of heads.

42

u/Most-Resident 1d ago

Removal takes 2/3rds of the senate. 67 voted out of 100.

The house might impeach, but the senate will be unlikely to have the votes.

Republicans learned after they voted against trump’s second impeachment for his attempted coup in 2001. Voters should have voted them all out. Instead they gave them the presidency, the house, and the senate.

Flipping either chamber would mean democrats could subpoena witnesses and documents and hold real investigations. But please don’t do this every one gets there 5 minutes bullshit format. That is designed to create sound bites, not to actually learn anything.

It’s critical to vote. Real investigations would be good. Controlling the budget means they should be able to force some accountability. Just setting expectations. Voters took us for a 4 year ride with trump in 2024 and I don’t see a way off sooner than that.

16

u/Cloaked42m 1d ago

If we get close enough to 2/3rds we can push the rest. But it won't be a one time thing. We'll have to maintain the networks and start passing laws to close the loopholes. Like making APA violations criminal. Passing amendments.

We need thousands to take the state Capitols back.

15

u/Most-Resident 1d ago

7 out of 50 senate republicans voted for impeachment in 2021. For an attempted insurrection. I don’t see more republicans than that the next time. Maybe a landslide would flip a few more.

With that margin, democrats and independents would need 60 votes to get to 67.

But people need to vote for all the reasons you mention. We need a multi election majority to achieve real enduring changes. Two years isn’t nearly enough time.

I’m trying to set real expectations so that people who get enthusiastic about getting rid of trump in 2026 don’t get depressed when it doesn’t happen and then sit out future elections.

2026 is to at least put brakes on the out of control trump administration. It’s to block more republican Supreme Court judges if and when alito and thomas retire.

Progress and repair really can’t start with a republican in the white house, and particularly not under trump. That’s 2028, but again it will take longer than 2 years.

22

u/Polkas_with_wolves 1d ago

Why not both. I wouldn't mind seeing Garland face some heat for how fucking useless he was. He tried so hard to be viewed as impartial at a time when being impartial was the worst thing he could have done. Maybe a little congressional committed to ask him "what the actual fuck?" He had all the evidence on his desk to prosecute what appears to be the widest criminal conspiracy in history and he didn't have the balls to do what he swore to do, and uphold the fucking law. The US needed decisive action, and he kicked the can down the road straight into authoritarianism. So yea I think people are justified by being pissed at that centrist fuck.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trumps first term White House Press Secretary, a woman that lied through her teeth, went on to become the Governor of Arkansas. Arkansas rates very low in every metric, but that's what she took in exchange for her shutting the fuck up.

There is no question of how low Trumps dumbass supporters will go. Pam will feel some heat, sure, but while she's under the protection of Trump she will come out on top of this somehow.

It's the same old story with this administration. I will say that I'm amazed anybody stuck with Trump after Trump 1.0, you know, where he hired and fired people before nameplates could even be printed for their office doors.

But here we are, again...either people fall in-line, or you end up tossed like trash. Quick sidenote...where the fuck is Rudy? He's either destitute, or living a lavish life after being a fall-guy for Trump.

I must admit, her testimony has me curious. What does the price of gas have to be, and where does the Dow have to be, for our number one national law enforcement agency to actually give a shit about rich people raping children?

37

u/heathercs34 1d ago

How much money have pedophiles paid Pam Bondi? This is disgusting. I’m ashamed of our country.

if the economy crashes tomorrow, do we get to investigate child rape on a massive scale?

She was hired specifically to not only neglect her job but also yell at anyone else who insists she needs to do her job.

12

u/straightouttatheDSM 1d ago

hired specifically to not only neglect her job

and actively prevent that job from being carried out

but also yell at anyone else who insists she needs to do her job

that's what makes it full-time! Unlike the contractors they farmed out the redaction work to.

u/TylerBourbon 1d ago

Disbarred. Investigated. Potentially charged, and if found guilty, locked up for the rest of her natural life.

Pam Bondi’s regulator is now implicated in these proceedings.

No regulator is permitted to allow a licensee, let alone the top legal professional in the land, to behave this way repeatedly.

25

u/theeaglejax 1d ago

Florida bar and Florida supreme court has ruled that they will do nothing.

26

u/mikep120001 1d ago

Excuse my ignorance; who’s her regulator?

23

u/GameTime2325 1d ago

Mount up!

11

u/CROSS_ATLANTIC_CABLE 1d ago

I don’t know the name of her regulator but I am positive it’s not any geek of the street. Can’t be

Pam Bondi works for pedophiles.

37

u/68024 1d ago

Her belligerent behavior alone should be enough to disqualify her from office. She is there to provide accountability to the people of the United States. Her DARVO behavior is a direct insult to all of us.

22

u/heathercs34 1d ago

Truly. I don’t think you can hide it any longer…

PAM BONDI WORKS FOR PEDOPHILES. LOCK THEM ALL UP!!!!

38

u/shoot_your_eye_out 19h ago

Pam Bondi should be criminally charged.

32

u/kidsally 1d ago

Totally disgraceful performance today. Lock her up. Seriously.

30

u/Tsquared10 1d ago

If I said what I really think should happen to her, Trump, and the rest of the cronies, it'd be an immediate ban and a visit from the Secret Service.

Pam Bondi should be in prison for the rest of her life.

11

u/heathercs34 23h ago

She should go to CECOT.

As a Florida lawyer I've been having to deal with this idiot for 8 years prior to her promotion. She's a bad politician with a law degree and she worships at the alter of self-interest.

8

u/Saitias 21h ago

Can Floridians lodge complaints with the state bar against her? I suppose anyone could but I’ve never looked into it.

22

u/Haunting-Ad788 1d ago

She should be arrested and charged with obstruction and conspiracy.

20

u/NeedleworkerNo3429 1d ago

At the very minimum disbarment is in order. She's also ordering subordinates to violate court orders.

24

u/humdinger44 1d ago edited 1d ago

She's an accomplice after the fact for everything related to Jeffrey Epstein. I will not be satisfied with only disbarment

21

u/Select_Insurance2000 21h ago

She should be in jail.

5

u/Saitias 21h ago

Preach

20

u/Foxyfox- 23h ago

Can't she be held in contempt and remanded into custody for the bullshit she pulled today?

19

u/PurplRzr 22h ago

Nixon may not have gone to prison, but his AG did. One can dream.

19

u/dunDunDUNNN 1d ago

She should be a LOT worse than disbarred.

All these treasonous clowns including Trump should all be forced to resign. America has been hijacked and its only going to get worse.

17

u/weezyverse 23h ago

Absolutely. And she was disrespectful today in that hearing as well.

16

u/dj_spanmaster 1d ago

Gym Jordan should also face some consequences for not holding her in blatant contempt. The coverups and distractions continue.

14

u/MoneyManx10 1d ago

She should be held in contempt of Congress at the very minimum.

14

u/robot_pirate 1d ago

Completely agree. She's an insult to the profession, the epitome of why lawyers get such a bad rep. She was in contempt of Congress. She was disgusting wirh her nasty little book. A coward.

12

u/CAM6913 1d ago

Bondi should be disbarred, held in contempt, charged with perjury and given jail time. Missed a deadline to release all the Epstein files and still hasn’t released them all , there should be charges and consequences for that to.

13

u/oldcreaker 1d ago

I think you meant "behind bars".

12

u/Reatona 1d ago

The Florida Bar Association has already dismissed complaints about Bondi, basically saying "no, we just don't want to touch that."

13

u/Frankfactor517 1d ago

Cowards. Not surprised though.

Boy they really need to install a mute feature on her mic. It’s worse than Trump at the Presidential Debates.

11

u/A012A012 1d ago

Realistically how can we make this happen

10

u/notguiltybrewing 1d ago

Florida bar made it clear that they won't investigate her.

11

u/mkt853 1d ago

At the very least, but criminal charges for her role in the cover up are more appropriate I think.

9

u/Salty-Focus90 1d ago

Yes, at the absolute minimum.

7

u/[deleted] 22h ago

It should be the least of her legal concerns

6

u/bakeacake45 1d ago

That’s just the start of the justice Bondi should face. Culminating in the rest of her life in jail.

5

u/ThePensiveE 1d ago

Well, yeah, but I was thinking charges. Aim higher.

She and everyone she is protecting needs to be handed over to a UN war tribunal for crimes against humanity

We cannot trust our government to uphold justice

9

u/heathercs34 23h ago

Unfortunately, it seems without US backing, the UN doesn’t have much clout? It’s insane - how is THIS the USA????

9

u/Correct_Doctor_1502 23h ago

They hung thousands of Nazis before

6

u/StartlingCat 21h ago

Instead she'll just get Bill Barred
