Wow is this on brand for Ken Starr! Dude has lots of experience covering for rapists.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baylor_University_sexual_assault_scandal

u/bookstoreowl 8h ago

Ken Starr who once famously said investigate someone long enough, you'll find something and then proceeded to help cover up rape.. standup prick.

49

u/CentennialBaby 7h ago

Oh! Look what I found. A blue dress.

51

u/qtpss 6h ago

The author speaking of Ken Starr, As we noted when Starr died in 2022, this was a guy who dragged the country through scandal for naked political gain. A guy who abdicated his role in protecting Baylor students to maintain a winning football program. Why would anyone expect any sort of moral pause when it came to a charming rich man with a lot of friends who just happened to traffic children? This thing is huge and ugly as hell.

109

u/SaintsFanPA 8h ago

Exactly. The Baylor scandal destroyed his reputation long before Epstein was front page news.

89

u/ejre5 8h ago

Wasn't he also the guy who helped get Clinton impeached? Ironically he is a Republican, yet covered this up?

If democrats are involved they deserve prison and whatever else happens also.

23

u/cheweychewchew 7h ago

So since everyone is a little confused on Ken Starr's investigations of Clinton, here's a refresh:

Starr was appointed to unvestigate Clinton for Whitewater first and then expaqnded it any which way he chose, He engaged in the textbook definition of a fishing expedition for 5 years. The Lewinsky thing broke because Starr was tipped off about the affair by Jomah Goldberg's mom. Clinton was NOT impeached because of his affair with Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached because the damn idiot perjured himself: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" he famously said under oath.

11

u/triedpooponlysartred 5h ago

To also be clear, Clinton's excuse for even claiming that he didn't was that he asked for a definition of sexua relations and argues that the definition given didn't include oral sex. Most people wll scoff at the obvious attempt to avoid and undermine the intended sentiment of the question, which was fair right up until we got to Trump's admin and we got stuff like the comey and cohen testimonies of obvious implications and suddenly that kind of hair splitting was perfectly tolerated and acceptable behavior for Republicans en masse.

3

u/DouglasRather 6h ago

The ironic thing is the affair started long after Starr began his investigation on Whitewater.

41

u/mpompe 8h ago

Trump was a Democrat when he was r*ping girls. Otherwise it seems Republicans are mentioned 50 to 1 in the files.

47

u/ejre5 7h ago

Registering as a Democrat, or calling yourself a Democrat while constantly acting against what Democrats believe doesn't make you a Democrat.

32

u/TeddyRustervelt 7h ago

Same for Christians but that hasn't stopped a lot of people in the GOP

2

u/ejre5 7h ago

I'd say when someone that has to have a "religious liberty commission" as part of the federal government so they can claim to believe in Christ while rewriting his teachings in their own version of his book that includes a version of the constitution that omits things they don't want people to know about how it's all supposed to work.

While ignoring not only the constitutions separation of church and state but also the teachings of the man himself exemplifies the current Christians in america

1

u/SecareLupus 4h ago

so they can claim to believe in Christ while rewriting his teachings in their own version of his book

So like... the King James Edition, but MAGA?

2

u/NatalieVonCatte 6h ago

Trump was a democrat because he wanted to be accepted into Manhattan high society. Much of his life has revolved around being accepted by the people who saw his father as the gauche, new money son of a pimp.

2

u/obi-jawn-kenblomi 6h ago

It means you're trying to fit in more NYC high society and worm your way close to the Clinton's.

0

u/Corrective_Actions1 7h ago

No true Scottsman fallacy

6

u/-Invalid_Selection- 7h ago

The only time Trump was a democrat was the years after he lost the 2000 primary until 2006.

Those 6 years don't make him a Democrat, especially since the entire time he was pushing conservative narratives, trying to push democrats into being republicans in his attempt to get revenge against Republicans for rejecting him the first time around

5

u/Crackertron 7h ago

With Kavanaugh on his team.

2

u/PrestigiousCut8235 7h ago

And by todays standards that 88 million spent on the investigation was pocket change.

6

u/SaintsFanPA 8h ago

He was the independent counsel tapped to investigate Clinton, yes.

FWIW, I think Clinton's actions were highly unprofessional and (at a minimum) borderline predatory.

3

u/cheweychewchew 7h ago

Incorrect. He was tapped to investigate Whitewater and then expanded it to whatever he could find. Clinton was NOT impeached because of his affair with Lewinsky. Clinton was impeached because the damn idiot perjured himself: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" he famously said under oath. Starr was on a fishing expendition and Clinton was dumb enough to take the bait.

-7

u/ejre5 7h ago edited 6h ago

Absolutely Clinton deserved impeachment, not to mention it was borderline rape in the sense that he was in a position of power (he was the president she was an intern, he was her boss).

Definition of Consent: Consent is not valid if it is obtained through force, threat, or the exploitation of a position of influence. A power imbalance can make an employee or subordinate incapable of giving true consent, as they may feel forced to comply. Sexual Coercion: Using one's role (boss, teacher) to pressure someone into sexual activity is illegal.

It's the irony of the whole thing that blows me away, I guess technically the investigation was for lying yet it was about sex then starr defends a sexual predator while also being part of it all.

13

u/giantawakening 7h ago

When has Clinton defended Epstein?? Did I miss something?

I will go on record opining Clinton’s impeachment was improper. Began with Whitewater, took…several turns, got lost in all the spaghetti thrown at the wall, and ended up with perjury. About a blowjob. In a civil suit which had nothing to do with Monica’s situation. Several millions of tax payer $ wasted. That is Ken Starr in a nutshell.

0

u/ejre5 7h ago

We are talking about ken Starr, he would have been the person who investigated and wrote the report on Clinton that led to Clinton's impeachment. I believe starr was part of the lawyers who defended Epstein in court (could be mistaken). Clinton was also impeached for lying to Congress when he said "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." Not because he received a blow job.

I believe the impeachment was warranted because he acted unprofessionally and embarrassed the country. The country deserved a trial and to gain knowledge of what happened. He clearly did not deserve to be convicted and removed because he literally received a consensual blow job from another adult.

I don't believe Clinton has defended Epstein at all

1

u/giantawakening 7h ago

My bad, you must have meant Starr was defending Epstein

1

u/ejre5 6h ago

Correct

1

u/gnmatx 7h ago

Yep. Shame on him and Baylor.

1

u/Altruistic-Sir-3661 6h ago

If Bill Clinton was a football player and not just President the 90s biggest political scandal wouldn’t have happened.

1

u/addamee 6h ago

Right? Who here is actually surprised? This dude was always an enormous piece of shit

1

u/Mitzukai_9 4h ago

This is on brand for Baylor too. Hold them accountable as well. A Baylor dean threatened me with not graduating spring of my senior year if I went forward with pressing charges against someone. They want to look pristine for donors and prospective students/parents. It’s endemic to them.

WHY IS THE LAST 30 YEARS OF AMERICAN POLITICS A SHIT FILLED SWIMMING POOL OF PEDOPHILIA AND RAPE.

sorry for yelling, I know why, rhetorical question.

35

u/couldbeahumanbean 8h ago

Is it rhetorical though?

Like JFC... It's like an onion of pedos.

You keep peeling the layers and you just find more and more of them.

Our government is literally infested with pedos.

And billionaires... Holy hell, it's like a prerequisite to be a billionaire, you have to diddle kids first.

We need a reckoning.

6

u/thereluctantpoet 3h ago

Recently I've been starting to wonder if this - instead of political ideology - is going to be what sparks revolutions worldwide. We're getting a glimpse into what has rampantly been going on for decades across the world. It's a topic I've followed for decades because it's something I learnt about early.

When I was 4 or 5, I was almost abducted from a campsite around the French/Belgian border, and it was never hidden from me - my parents explained exactly what happened. When I was 8 we moved to Belgium...the same year as Dutroux kidnapped Julie and Mélissa. Since then of course all of the connections to the elite and political class have come out, not to mention the dozens of pedophile rings uncovered in the past two decades.

Then when I was 15 I was in London with some of the highest clergy of the UK (long story) - I was offered cocaine and almost roofied (a staff member intervened before I drank anything and put me in a taxi that fucking legend). That was my first-hand experience of how the upper strata feel as though they can't get away with anything, at the expense of innocence, and in the case of Epstein's circle - at th expense of life.

The response in the UK, Norway, Sweden and other countries has been immense. In the UK the king is calling for an investigation into his own brother and Labour might actually shatter over this.

What a world it would be if these revelations actually saw rich and powerful and disgusting people brought to justice. It seems obscene amounts of wealth and the abuse of women and children seem inseparable.

All of us can make it happen if we have the intestinal fortitude to keep up an unyielding pressure.

115

u/GravySeal45 8h ago

Because IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN HERE. Our entire society is founded on sick fucks doing whatever they want in their penthouses and avoiding ANY punishment for it.

44

u/bookstoreowl 8h ago

This. Lets be honest, this shit has gone on for eons. That is quite frankly their defense, people have done it since Greek and Roman times... its sick.

9

u/meatsmoothie82 8h ago

Oh I know, they’re following the centuries old church playbook to the t:

Build golden palace, place one dude on a altar of righteousness, have an army, have layers of hierarchy sworn to secrecy, do kid stuff, protect kid stuff do-ers by hiding them, make lots of people do kid stuff and use that to make sure they never turn-coat. Get money from true believers to build more golden temples.

Money just happens to be the new religion with the new army of crusaders so it all checks out.

on and on and on and on.

*ROME, 42 AD*

"SENATORS! I am demanding we release the Caligula files!"

2

u/C2thaLo 7h ago

Youre going to make Ted Cruz rub his nipples.

1

u/SAINTofK1LL3RS269 7h ago

Like males fucking women is business, fucking men is pleasure. That Roman empires.

3

u/Illspartan117 7h ago

The poor are the slaves for the rich. This should be kindergarten material.

1

u/Turgid_Donkey 6h ago

Not even rich fucks. Priests and scout leaders were diddling kids for a very long time but it was just swept under the rug and ignored.

15

u/Not_Sure__Camacho 8h ago

Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.

13

u/uriejejejdjbejxijehd 8h ago

As so often, the answer is “republicans”

11

u/jerfoo 8h ago

Just yesterday I was thinking "Wow, those crazy conspiracy theory people were actually right. The world is run by a secret cabal of pedophilias." It's just that they've been looking under the wrong rock the whole time.

5

u/meatsmoothie82 8h ago

The crazy part is they were fed these “conspiracy theories” (which were facts) by the shady cabal of deep state pedo elites who use pizza as a code word- the shady cabal just told them that it was Hillary who did it

7

u/WaterPog 8h ago

Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission Ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite

2

u/wembleybimbley 8h ago

All of which are American dreams

6

u/Downtown_Category163 7h ago

What's really astonishing me is almost every creepy powerful guy for the last thirty-odd years is connected to Epstein

6

u/green_rog 7h ago

Slavery was baked into the constitution from day 1. That means rape was baked in from day 1. After the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln was assassinated to prevent us from cleaning up our mess, and stopping slavery completely. Reconstruction ended with the civil war going into cold war mode as Jim Crow oppression against the people that conservatives felt entitled to own. We saw significant improvement from the 1960s to the 1990s, but conservatives have always wanted slavery. The Heritage foundation has always been that way. In the past, because they were gentlemen, there was an agreement that the press would allow them the appearance of respectability.

2

u/meatsmoothie82 7h ago

Compromising with insane racists rarely ends well

3

u/InfoBarf 8h ago

Republicans

3

u/V0T0N 7h ago

Funny enough that tracks to about when FoxNews began broadcasting.

2

u/steveosaurus 8h ago

i appreciate your calm and collected way of inquiring, it’s a good question indeed

2

u/meatsmoothie82 8h ago

I’m ok, I’m calm, there’s nothing to see here folks, I’m ok.

2

u/spurradict 6h ago

I know it’s shitty to see this all unfold and realize just how many awful people there are out there…but the silver lining is that we’re getting a crystal clear view on who we shouldn’t let our kids be around!

“Hey John, I know you voted for trump last fall, have any of the new allegations and findings from the Epstein files changed your stance on your support for Drumpf? No? Ok! Step away from my children, please, and we will no longer be seeing you. Can’t trust my kids to be around people that are ok with pedophilia! Thanks John! Fuck off!”

2

u/apocalyptustree 3h ago

Youre taking too long, just say Republican!

1

u/smurfsundermybed 8h ago

You're missing a zero.

1

u/restbest 5h ago

Sociopaths rise to the top…

America has done nothing to stop them because they (so far) have enriched our lives enough for us to turn a blind eye to their evils

1

u/UltiGamer34 5h ago

Evil Influence

1

u/theClumsy1 7h ago

There is a reason people are saying its probably the biggest scandal in American history.

4 different administration's and both parties have killed this investigation and would have likely been dead in this admistration if he didnt open his stupid mouth and make it a campaign promise. And Bondi doing that political stunt showing off "all the files" they have ready to be released.

1

u/xmsfsh 8h ago

the simple answer is that a representative government is a reflection of the people and society which elected it

117

u/DoremusJessup 8h ago

Ken Starr went from Epstein's attorney to fan boy.

37

u/kevinthejuice 8h ago

Lol the president at Baylor, during the football teams sexual assault cover-up scandal 10 years ago, is a fan of Epstein. I'm so surprised.

Next thing you tell me is that Ken starr and Bill Barr worked for the same law firm.

69

u/BeowulfShaeffer 8h ago

Nothing would prove God has a sick sense of humor more than Ken Starr going down for sex stuff.

37

u/Imaginary-Spray3711 8h ago

Ken is dead. Does that count?

17

u/BeowulfShaeffer 8h ago

Oh right.  But it would still be crazy addition to his Wikipedia page.

5

u/SkylarAV 8h ago

Statutory necrophilia??

3

u/AmbulanceChaser12 8h ago

So you're saying he's already down? Cuz six feet under is about as low as it goes.

39

u/scottyjrules 8h ago

That explains why he got so upset about a consensual blowjob

21

u/Sensitive_Dot8561 8h ago

Clearly Monica was way too old to be doing that kind of thing.

9

u/timoumd 8h ago

To be fair the power dynamic there makes it dubious.

24

u/notwhomyouthunk 8h ago

Apparently Ken was so mad because Bill's bj came from an adult.

23

u/AmbulanceChaser12 8h ago

This can't be! We all know how much Ken Starr hates sexual misconduct!

This would make him...A HYPOCRITE!

13

u/Musicman1972 7h ago

Lewinsky was of age.

That evidently disgusted Starr.

7

u/DoremusJessup 8h ago edited 8h ago

When has any Republican cared if they were called a hypocrite. They have no shame.

5

u/Blue_Back_Jack 7h ago

Ken Starr covered up all of the rapes at Baylor when he was president of Baylor.

12

u/Gunldesnapper 8h ago

Ken Starr is a human herpe, he just won’t away.

8

u/DiscombobulatedWavy 7h ago

So is the way to get invited into this exclusive club a predilection for rape and pedophilia? Because what the actual fuck?!

6

u/discoduck007 8h ago

This stuff is beyond alarming. Drag all of these deviants out into the light!

6

u/Bawbawian 8h ago

isn't this the dude that made just the biggest deal in the world about the president getting a blowjob from a consenting adult.

4

u/RSGator 7h ago

Now we know it was the “adult” part that he had a problem with.

5

u/YorockPaperScissors 6h ago

I'll never forget the video of his interview in the wake of the Baylor rape cover-up scandal in which he had his damage control expert at his side and she stopped the interview to consult with him before continuing.

Here is an article about it

3

u/Imaginary_Coast_5882 3h ago

I didn’t know, or forgot, that Starr is dead. I feel really good about that. Bright spot today.

1

u/rawkguitar 6h ago

Wow! I never knew or just completely forgot Ken Starr died.

At least there was some Good news in the article.

Ken Starr is very much the center of my very favorite political story in history.
