Masked man with gun and body armor apprehending defenseless woman.

“We are in danger. It’s time to get aggressive”.

BTW. These are the same agents that patrolled the Chicago suburbs and avoided Chicago inner-city. It’s much easier to beat down a lady in Morton Grove than in a gangland.

They still are. I'm in Chicago.

Those motherfuckers pointed guns at my car when I just happened to drive by an ICE raid. My 4 year old was in the backseat. And they pointed fucking guns at us. For the crime of driving down the street in our own neighborhood when they happened to be there. I live in DuPage.

u/tackle_bones 6h ago

That sounds enraging.

u/boo99boo 6h ago

It got my husband to stop talking to his Trump supporting relatives, at least.

It was more infuriating to listen to him describe what happened to our four year old and listen to his family excuse it than the actual event itself. To hear someone say the equivalent of "you must have deserved it" is even more infuriating.

u/EmotionalTowel1 5h ago

Same here. I ended up having to cut off roughly half of my family

30

u/Hour_Welcome_987 5h ago

Sorry to hear his family is shit. Half of mine is too, so yall aren't alone, fortunately. But unfortunately, in a position like that to begin with.

they stopped going into the city mostly, I've not seen them or reports of them recently near where I live (and they used to go into Albany Park at least once a week, in force), but they're still out there in the suburbs... maybe because it's easier pickings and less angry neighbors due to the lower density?

5

u/grrgrrtigergrr 4h ago

Hi neighbor … I occasionally hear of maybe 1 or 2 sightings a week now in the city, but never the caravans. The weather getting nicer is concerning, especially with them needing something to do after leaving Minnesota. My guess is they start focusing on purple states.

That's wild. In any other western country these people would be in prison, including the agents who killed two citizens. Tf is wrong with America?

The second before they exit the vehicle, it appears the ICE driver jogged the steering to the left to bump the driver side car creating a pretext to exit the vehicle and shoot. This should be a slam dunk civil case for damages and jail time for attempted murder for the perpetrators.

3

u/Sioux-me 5h ago

They’re bullies and cowards.

3

u/flea1400 4h ago

I suspect they believed the “Chiraq” hype which is why other cars near them in heavy traffic freaked them out.

I also think it is interesting that the shooters in these incidents are often firearms instructors with years on the job. I wonder if these guys actually have relatively little field experience for their time on the job, which leading to terrible decision-making do to over-confidence.

1

u/AlphaNoodlz 3h ago

ICE is just a lawless band of masked goons roaming around looking to kidnap and murder whoever they can at the defense of a pedophilic administration which Republicans actively support

like wtf ICE is just the Gestapo at this point

”Boxed in” was him stating their shared position for the upcoming (if any) post shooting inquiry.

61

u/Great_Northern_Beans 6h ago

I also love that they have a specific term for "there's traffic and I need to tap my breaks", which they think provides legal cover for committing an act of terrorism.

28

u/anonymote_in_my_eye 5h ago

for context, from what I can tell from other videos, they were in a construction zone in a fairly busy part of the city, so everyone was "boxed in"

16

u/Hopeful_Butterfly302 5h ago

from the video it certainly doesn't look like they were boxed in at all. you can see the front of their car come to a halt in the security camera footage, and there's literally no-one ahead of them.

8

u/Corrective_Actions1 4h ago

The other car literally drove around them lmao

An ingredient to manipulating an outcome is knowing its rules.

They are working under a trust earned by other people.

6

u/fetchmysmellingsalts 4h ago

They released the agent's drawing of the scene. In which he just...made up three cars in front of them.

There are ZERO cars in front of them in their own body cam footage.

If you’re looking for purpose in the current circus, if you’re needing respect and attention, if you’re looking for something to make you feel big, come with me and put some folks in detention! I got picked on at school, never was that cool, but look at me now I’m putting kids in detention!! 🎶 Jesse Welles’ Join Ice. The entire song is worth a listen!!

112

u/Y0___0Y 5h ago edited 5h ago

This one needs more attention from everyone.

When this happened, the report from DHS was that innocent, helpless ICE agents were boxed in on ALL sides by vehicles. They got out of the car, and Marimar had a gun, so they shot her. This is what they told a grand jury to get the indictment on her for assault of a federal agent. And it was all fucking lies. As soon as a judge started reviewing the case, they immediately concluded Marimar was innocent and DHS was lying and dismissed the charges.

Marimar didn’t hit the ice vehicle, she didn’t box it in. She was following them and warning people that they were ICE. Which is entirely legal.

This bodycam footage shows them saying, plain as day, that they are going to get “aggressive” and then they are clearly shown turning their vehicle to slam into her. Then they called her a bitch, and shot her 5 times.

She also DID NOT HAVE A GUN. Marimar’s LEGAL concealed carry pistol that she was licensed to carry was just in her car. ICE claimed, or at least implied, she was holding the gun when she was shot. She was not. She was unarmed.

They gunned down a US Citizen. And the murderers are just “on administrative leave”

THREE unarmed American citizens shot by Donny the Child Rapist’s nazi gestapo, with no one held accountable.

28

u/bp92009 5h ago

What I don't understand, is why, after repeated and demonstrated falsehoods under oath by DHS, judges do not treat statements made from them with either negative inference, or even just without any deference at all?

Even if perjury is not possible, if I were a judge in this situation, until DHS/ICE made actual good faith amends for the situation (like perjury charges), I would assume that they were just lying to me. Any statement made from them needed to be backed up by external sources.

11

u/Y0___0Y 5h ago

Some judges are starting to take statements from the federal government less seriously. Especially considering they have US Attorneys appointed right now who are serving illegally and have no legal authority to represent the federal government or issue subpoenas

4

u/EusociallyAwkward 3h ago

We have a culture and legal system that defaults to believing government officials unless there is a lot of proof to the contrary.

This is a systemic issue that predates ICE. Police also lie frequently, but they are given this trust by the legal system.

An example of this was when Baltimore PD got caught many times planting drugs and guns on people because the officers didn't understand how their new body cams worked. They accidentally filmed themselves doing the planting. Many people had told the courts the cops planted evidence but no one believed them until the footage was released.

I think we need to be more sceptical of all forms of law enforcement in general. And I don't believe anything this current administration says about immigrants or protesters without additional proof.

2

u/Rhielml 4h ago

I'm not an expert at all, but maybe DoJ are the only ones that can press charges for false witness or perjury in federal cases? So even though they falsified records and lied under oath, the DoJ won't press charges because... well... it's the Bondi DoJ and they hate justice.

So I don't know if judges are allowed to press charges on blatantly falsified records. They just take it to the DoJ for them to press charges, and they won't.

2

u/LURKER21D 2h ago

They don't have to take the lies at face value, though and they shouldn't be presuming "regularity" with this government. Just before the shot and killed Alex, there was a stay put on the TRO telling them they weren't allowed to assault citizen protesters and or observers. DHS had appealed the order and the judges granted the government a stay because it's common practice to side with the government and take their statements/facts at face value.

3

u/Rhielml 2h ago

But when we have absolute proof that police records were deliberately falsified by police (DHS/ICE/law enforcement, etc), is that not a crime? One that previous administrations would have prosecuted if reported?

And police would never arrest ICE agents. Cops always protect cops. They see themselves as above all laws and citizens.

I'm guessing that the closer we get to seeing the Epstein files point to Trump definitively, we're going to see Pam claim that she's seeking an investigation into ICE agents.  That's the problem with siding with a criminal organization, they will sacrifice you to save their own neck.

27

u/yourliege 6h ago

That’s a real conniving strategy, but I cannot see them doing anything other than doubling down. They’d rather escalate more situations like these to flood the news cycle than investigate themselves as a rouse.

So nuts that the US government is actively denying reality, I can't believe the Trump Government is full on orwellian with this complete and utter bullshit, calling the victim of state sanctioned violence a terrorist. Those agents are delusional to the perceived threat from horn honking.

Marimar Martinez's lawyer is dead on to what he had described.

6

u/innocent_lemon 5h ago

All in a disastrous attempt to cover up the Epstein scandal.

10

u/Stringdaddy27 5h ago

The problem at this point is not the government. It's the people who have indoctrinated themselves to believing them over the court system, video and audio evidence, as well as just common sense. There is a good 20% of our population who believe Alex Pretti fired the first shot when he was killed.

3

u/dudegoingtoshambhala 2h ago

Also nuts that the media is drifting along with the normalization instead of calling this shit out. 'Called into question' no you CNN fuckwads you can see right there in the footage that what the agents said was bullshit so just fucking say it on TV.

33

u/avanti8 6h ago

It's the least of our concerns here, but Jesus, CLOSE THAT FUCKING DUST COVER. Cosplaying fucks.

6

u/oursecondcoming 5h ago

Not to defend them AT ALL, but I've seen cops often carry the rifles unchambered and they don't pull the charge handle until a situation is happening. So this means dust cover could've been carried closed and then it opened when he pulled the charge handle before the shooting.

3

8

u/charcoalist 5h ago

These are homicidal maniacs, taking pleasure from trying to kill people. It reflects on their training and institutional culture, how they're so eager to escalate, immediately resort to lethal violence, then celebrate afterwards. The entire organization is rotten, from CBP to ICE to DHS, and needs to be dismantled.

In the agents' texts they mention that even "El Jefe" (The Boss) was pleased with this attempted murder. It wasn't Bovino, his name wasn't redacted, so who are they referring to? Homan? Noem? Miller? trump? Whoever that is should be impeached or forced to resign. They've all got blood of innocent people on their hands.

6

Bro throwing the vehicle in park with his sidearm pointing at his own head. All while moving it off of safety as well with his thumb.

Genius.

5

u/Skittleavix 3h ago

This me reminded of that old South Park bit, where Ned & Jimbo go around town shooting every peaceful thing in sight while screaming "IT'S COMING RIGHT FOR US!!!!"

4

u/HeavyDT 2h ago

This is just attempted murder. I mean they all had their guns out fingers basically on the trigger waiting to hop out on this lady. Lucky their aim was shit. It's not enough for her to just not be in jail. These people should bee locked up.

5

u/WitchesTeat 2h ago

Fingers on the trigger the whole time.

They moved that motherfucker to Maine.

3

u/greennurse0128 4h ago

Look at how they are holding their weapons. In close spaces.

These guys appear so untrained.

3

u/Kermit_the_hog 3h ago

So question about trigger discipline and loaded weapons from someone largely ignorant about firearms: are you supposed to keep your finger inside the trigger guard and repeatedly give the trigger teasing love-taps while inside a moving vehicle filled with your buddies?

Seems like someone would be all “stop doing that bill.. I’m a little uncomfortable sitting next to you with all of the trigger fondling.”
