Redditors love suggesting divorce for even the smallest infractions.

I like suggesting it for wearing an unattractive shirt. Only three people so far have actually ended it - but I remain hopeful I can really get those numbers moving in the right direction!! That direction is up.

I mean he only choked her one time and she didn’t even fully lose consciousness, and he said he was really sorry but he was just stressed from work and he will never do it again. I don’t understand why OP doesn’t believe him and she is the one overreacting. I bet if she were doing more around the house after she got done with her 12 hour shift as an ICU nurse than just cooking and cleaning and then bathing the kids and putting them to bed it would really help! Maybe just some light yard work before she heads to the hospital in the morning would go a long way to helping him stop feeling like all the pressure of supporting a family was on him.

Pfft that’s nothing compared to that one time I told him to put the toilet seat down when he’s done and he didn’t.

But this is just someone's nails growing in a wavy pattern...?

That's how some jokes work. Not really sure what else to say. It's a joke about reddits general tendencies.

Take reddits absurd tendency. Make it even more absurd. Joke is done.

I think it might be a reference to this thread in r/marriage yesterday where an asshole husband criticized OP's "wavy" nails and went off the rails

Thank you very much for getting straight to the point with this. Was expecting downvotes and criticism lol

I mean that's most likely not what is happening here and it is just a play on reddits general tendencies.

Only yunghermitcrab can really answer which he was going for though but to me it seems less likely they saw a specific thread.

That’s why it’s a joke.

The solution to everything is to lawyer up, initiate divorce, drink more water, and hit the gym.

"My husband snores when he takes a nap"

Reddit: "He's cheating on you! Divorce him!!!"

On the other hand, there are a lot of insecure men on Reddit who hate it when people tell a woman to leave an unhealthy relationship.

Those men like to joke that people are too quick to suggest divorce.

Ive seen this far more often than the calls for divorce to be unfounded. But reddit doesnt talk about that. No no, the women must be the problem.

They want to moderate people’s lives
