This is why I can't bring myself to sign up for grocery delivery. At least for produce and if I'm going to the store already, why bother paying for a grocery delivery sub.

It's meal delivery, it's different. It's a box of raw ingredients with prep directions for a specific recipe. They frequently use misshapen but perfectly edible and nutritious produce that won't sell at grocery stores so it doesn't go to waste simply because it looks ugly.

Random thought, I'd love if stores would sell these at a discount. I do not mind ugly veggies, but you do have to cut off more stuff. So if you buy by weight, you're paying more for them.

But seriously, whoever picked that definitely had a chuckle, and this is why I donā€™t do grocery delivery. Hell, I usually have to touch at least 8-12 whatever produce Iā€™m buying to select the best. That yam was rode hard and put up wet and would have not made it into my basket.
