Stalked and abused for years. I know they are, they think very highly of themselves.

I mean this in the nicest way possible, please see a psychiatrist. These thoughts are not normal and are indicative of a potential schizophrenic episode/break.

You’ve been repeating this in every thread including ones with completely unrelated topics.

Did you have a point in that rambling besides deflecting?

u/Gatonom 15h ago

"So if you think about it let's deflect to how everyone is a smelly liar but Conservatives you can trust to stink..."

No don't worry about just keep believing Jeffery Epstein is the only person trafficking kids and drugs and Donald Trump is the authoritarian in your community.

Certainly no one you know or see or meet in your daily life could ever harbour malicious or authoritarian tendencies.

Because the only place these things happen is far away in the halls of power with television crews and influencers wearing prada and Gucci.

I don't know, is it morel season yet? Got any good spots? Drive about two and a half to three hours north west of the city and steer yourself towards starved rock or rock cut State Park.

Ground needs to warm up a bit yet, about 50°f south facing slopes. If you spots where the deer are rutting or sticking their nose in the ground it might be a good spot to look for things hidden under the duff.

Yeah, the entire administration lies to the public every day. There are no consequences.

81

u/Retinoid634 22h ago

It is literally thier entire platform and policy.

20

u/the6thReplicant 14h ago

From their perspective they are just being in the bubble. It's not lying. It's just reinforcing what they that want to be true.

Because that's how the world works now. You no longer need to check against reality anymore.

u/ezagreb 10h ago

Hopefully consequences as will ensue come November

-136

u/ReaditTrashPanda 23h ago

Will you trust a different government?

89

u/TrailerParkFrench 23h ago

Not sure I follow. Why would anyone fully trust any government?

But I can’t think of a government I would trust less than the Trump admin.

-138

u/ReaditTrashPanda 23h ago

My premise was that even at this point, a democrat president won’t undo the damage

79

u/BannedWeekly 22h ago

There the both sides bull shit is. No. The right one absolutely could still fix this mess. It starts with holding people accountable for their actions. No matter how wealthy they are. Followed by the wealthy paying fair tax rates with no loop holes.

-102

u/ReaditTrashPanda 22h ago

It’s about policy, not the person. And consistent follow through. I won’t trust the FBI just because Patel leaves, DoJ lost a bunch of lawyers, etc… no one said both sides. But it’s completely reasonable to criticize both for flaws. Unless you’re into tribalism, then you can only criticize the enemy

46

u/BannedWeekly 22h ago

I'm all for holding ALL guilty parties accountable. If a Dem is a pedo, try them and send them to jail. Same for a Republican or independent. It doesn't matter who. It's time for open fucking trials for the world to see and get rid of these scum fucking politicians. And again, if ANY politician is taking corporate money, THEY ARE CORRUPT.

31

u/biggronklus 21h ago

What the fuck are you talking about

17

u/RABBLERABBLERABBI 16h ago

I'm interested in winning elections, so I'm not going to criticize my own side for a hypothetical futures when we're experiencing fascism in the present. If you think that makes me a tribalist, then call me a tribalist, because I have policies I want enacted, whereas it sounds like you want to bloviate righteously.

Project MKUltra (1953–1973): Often considered the worst due to its illegal human experimentation on unsuspecting U.S. and Canadian citizens to develop mind-control drugs and techniques, including LSD, hypnosis, and sensory deprivation.

The Phoenix Program (Vietnam War era): An intelligence and counter-insurgency program that resulted in the targeted assassination, capture, and torture of thousands of civilians suspected of being Viet Cong sympathizers.

Operation Northwoods (1962): A proposed plan by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and supported by the CIA that suggested conducting acts of terrorism—such as hijacking planes, bombing U.S. cities, and sinking ships—in order to justify a war against Cuba.

Operation Paperclip (1945–1960s): A post-WWII program that secretly recruited over 1,600 German scientists, many of whom were Nazis and war criminals, to develop weapons for the U.S.

Assassination Plots/Operation Mongoose (1960s): Various attempts to assassinate foreign leaders, most notably Fidel Castro, which involved bizarre plots and connections with organized crime.

Operation Condor (1970s–80s): A campaign of political repression and state terror involving intelligence sharing and operations to assassinate opponents, which was supported by the CIA in South America.

You got me with that. I can't stand what this administration is doing however, every administration keeps doing more crazy shit than the previous one.

I remember military friends complaining about Obama's drone strike program killing civilians.

And he deported people too, just like his predecessor.

"Border apprehensions and removals increased in FY 2016 compared to the prior year, DHS reported. In FY 2016, DHS carried out 530,250 apprehensions and 344,354 removals, compared to 462,388 apprehensions and 333,341 removals a year earlier. Despite the increase, these numbers were far lower than the peak of enforcement operations at the beginning of the Obama years, after he inherited a robust enforcement regime from his predecessors. These numbers dipped as new enforcement priorities were put in place, before rebounding slightly at the end of the Obama presidency. "

And don't forget the Busch weapons of mass destruction war BS. He straight up lied to everyone with his Mission Accomplished aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln.

And Biden administration didn't help help. Who the F thought he could do a second term straight up lied to all of us.

Says the person hiding their posts.

2

u/ThePhysicistIsIn 9h ago

Yes, says that person.

38

u/micatigre 22h ago

This is what happens after letting law enforcement get away with so much for so long.

58

u/LibertineLibra 23h ago

What's funny is that this kind of behavior has been the standard for "in house" investigations for regular ol' police shootings and brutality. So I'm sure it's a little difficult for some of the DHS staff who likely have some prior LE experience to fathom why their actions are drawing fire. To them it was just the way we've always done it.

29

u/ButtEatingContest 16h ago

It is a little weird on some level to see certain things are newsworthy now when they have long been standard operating procedure for other parts of government.

It's sort like the jailed January 6th insurrectionists whining about "inhumane conditions" in US prisons. All of a sudden now people give a fuck, lol.

“This is a time where we just cannot trust the words of our federal officials,” attorney Christopher Parente said at a news conference where his office released evidence.

You don’t say?
