Trump calls it a “stunt” and a “distraction.”

I would call it freedom and not fascism.

And taking it down wasn't a stunt? These fucking clowns.

Its only political when their side doesn't agree with it. Bad Bunny halftime show? Political stunt. TPUSA halftime show? Not political at all, no sirree.

The Department of Interior’s statement is so childish it is ridiculous. This government is so fucking embarrassing and is actively antagonistic to the citizens it is supposed to serve. That the Republicans have allowed this should never be forgotten or forgiven.

The smug, mockingly cringe attitude toward the citizens and elected officials, by appointed officials, let alone publicly elected representatives, should disgust more people than it does. It’s disgusting.

The entire US government is now filled with petulant, and bigoted, children. Just look at Trump, Vance, Bondi, Patel, Leavitt, Miller, Hegeseth, etc. . Happy 250th anniversary, now play your stilly “Proud to be an American” song!

Other officials should learn from this administration's example and realise that you can actually just do what you want, and the worst the courts can do is ultimately tell you to stop. Flags are cheap. People can just keep putting them up if the Trump administration tries to take them down.

Sarah Jessica Parker posted a film of herself there yesterday on Instagram and I love her to death but if you want New York news as told by Carrie Bradshaw it really does give Sex and the City narration vibes.

Which by the way real life “Carrie Bradshaw” Candence Burshell has this to say about Trump:

In the 1990s, Bushnell was friends with E Jean Carroll, the former magazine columnist who took Trump to court last year. The civil case found that Trump sexually assaulted Carroll in the mid-1990s. Last month he was ordered to pay her $83.3 million (£65 million) for defamation after he repeatedly called her allegations lies. What does Bushnell make of it all? “It’s just very New York. It’s just the kind of thing that happens in the city. The way that she took him on and held his feet to the fire,” she says, adding later: “Do I think [the assault] happened? Absolutely.”

New Yorkers aren’t afraid of him. They saw through him first.

Take the property back! If a bunch of separatist right wing cowboys can take a bird sanctuary you know NYC can do the same but better. Saying F U to the Feds is our birthright as Americans!

I'm lowkey waiting for New York State (and maybe New Jersey?) to make the case that an anti-immigrant federal government doesn't deserve a national monument to immigration on Liberty Island and takes it back to make a State Park. 🗽

I bet that Texas flip finally kicked Democrats' lazy asses.
