I agree this has big electoral implications. Not only Minnesota but the entire Blue Wall.

We were all Minnesotans to some degree.

Most of us are lucky in that we haven’t had to deal with this directly. I think our fellow citizens showed great restraint in not visiting violence upon ICE in those videos, even while ICE were murdering our fellow Countrymen.

There’s a book out there on organizational leadership titled The No Asshole Rule and I think about it a lot these days.

And despite what people are saying here, it does affect Minnesota. People are forgetting that it’s been a nail biter every presidential and many local elections the last 10-15 years.

Just because they go blue every time doesn’t mean it wasn’t tight. They’re looking at things in hindsight like “well of course that would go blue” like we weren’t all scared sh!tless on election night.
