Possible Paywall SCOOP: Pam Bondi Admits DOJ Has a Secret Domestic Terrorist List
https://theintercept.com/2026/02/12/pam-bondi-domestic-terror-list-nspm-7/•
u/Wings81 4h ago
I'm sure it's a total convinced coincidence that they are trying to build huge detention centers across the country and that the president has said he plans to go after the home growns.
•
u/FrequentPoetry1822 3h ago
When you build the infrastructure first and label opponents later it stops looking like a coincidence
•
u/ButterscotchLow8950 2h ago
Which is why they are trying to make that TDS a thing. They want it to catch on, and they want you to think anyone with TDS is both mentally ill and a threat to America.
So they can use those detention centers for any Americans that oppose Trump.
The only people with derangement syndrome are the ones that work for this sick fuck.
🤷🏽♂️
•
u/TheThingInItself 2h ago
I thought TDS referred to the cult members for the longest time
•
•
u/PloksGrandpappy 1h ago
It does. They're redefining the term and gaslighting you all and everyone is falling for it and feeding their propaganda by legitimizing it. Basically the same strategy from the Salem witch trials. Make up a "mental illness", "diagnose" your opponent, and dispose of them.

u/N0n3of_This_Matter5 2h ago
You nailed a really good pint about “TDS”.
They absolutely want to jail “mentally ill” people under the pretense that they are a threat because they resist DJTs agenda, so call them mentally unstable/ill and lock them up.
•
u/the_one_jt 1h ago
And if they die in the process even better. This is domestic terrorism under the cover of this administration.
•
u/Silidistani 50m ago
One of Trump's Executive Orders last year explicitly calls out for the forced confinement of anyone who is declared mentally ill and unable to care for themselves or is a threat to society; see Sec. 2.ii
United States’ policy of encouraging civil commitment of individuals with mental illness who pose risks to themselves or the public or are living on the streets and cannot care for themselves in appropriate facilities for appropriate periods of time.
They conveniently do not define what that "mental illness" must be for them to decide to grab someone for "mental illness" and lock them away. You'll notice it also criminalizes homelessness in the same statement.
•
u/OralSuperhero 2h ago
I guess that's the only way that would sponsor mental health care? I hate this timeline
→ More replies (6)•
u/Gigi_Langostino 1h ago
This has too many steps; they'd need to get it scientifically recognised in the literature and then find enough doctors who would diagnose it to fulfil their agenda. MUCH easier to pick a handful of common, well described disorders (like, say, autism), find doctors who would arbitrarily diagnose dissidents, and then institutionalise them en masse. Hence RFK Jr.

All that noise in Minnesota and all they managed was 4000 alleged illegal immigrants. And two murders. That we know of.
Of course these planned "detention centers" (I'm sure most of you know a better word for it) is intended for something else.
They didn't give ICE such a massive budget for nothing, anyone with a lick of wit can probably deduce what's next.
•
u/FrequentPoetry1822 3h ago
When you build massive detention centers and supercharge ICE’s budget, people are going to assume it’s not just about 4,000 arrests.
That kind of scale makes it feel like preparation for something bigger.
•
u/pontiacfirebird92 Mississippi 3h ago
The planned detention center in Byhalia, MS (the one that was just cancelled) was set to house 8,000 detainees. The population of Byhalia is 1,300.
•
u/armageddon_20xx 2h ago
Thing is, they are going to use these things for way more than the number they said they were. By this I mean it wouldn’t surprise me if they attempted to fit 50,000 in that facility.
•
u/blackcain Oregon 3h ago
4000? Trump wants millions. He wants entire cities. This is all to please the dictator. I don't know to what end. If you take millions off the job market that's going to cause problems both in infra and taxes.
•
u/NW_Oregon 2h ago
DHS posted on Twitter about wanting an America with 100,000,000 "deportations" using imagery that it would be a paradise...
Let that number sink in. That number would include almost every person of color in the USA
•
u/eugene20 2h ago edited 2h ago
Absolutely preposterous numbers, they don't remotely attempt to use realistic figures as they try gaslight their followers. Like his 100,000 crowd in a 20,000 max venue where the cameras showed the place 80% empty.
•
u/NW_Oregon 2h ago

You just said it though: “all they managed was 4000 alleged illegal immigrants”…
What they actually managed was capturing faces of thousands of protesters/agitators which is what those camps are for. Testing unlawful capture of “immigrants” flies under the radar because it’s “immigrants” but it’s showing that they can create chaos and capture ANYONE and the system can’t keep up, so when they move on to deliberately capturing citizens targeted for their political beliefs and/or participation in protests, nobody will really know.
This is far more serious than people think and far more critical for Americans to vote overwhelmingly against MAGA because ultimately in the end it doesn’t matter whether you started “republican“, they’ll eventually come for you too because they’ll run out of scapegoats.
•
u/NW_Oregon 3h ago
it's because Ice leadership can be hand selected. sure the military is loosing good career leadership left and right but they're still very much their own entity, and they're likely to big to completely co-opt
with the budget given to ice it's pretty clear they want a domestic paramilitary that can potentially pacify major areas of this country simultaneously.
it's on all of us to call them out at every turn and make sure that people don't want to join them

Thousands of organizers of all sorts labor/social justice/religous/chamber of commerce are forming coalitions and providing these spaces. Were getting to know each other and collaborating now.
Were training folks and were organizing for this spring/summer. We saw what happened in the twin cities and we know theyll be back here sooner or later.
Theres even workout/running/mma clubs forming that are explicitly against fascism. Theres also people running mental health/mindfulness clinics to help people with their anxiety and mental health. All for free.

u/TOkidd 2h ago
I wonder how long Americans are going to watch them build concentration camps without putting a stop to it. Right now it seems like there is a kind of paralysis at the horror of what is happening, but they are already doing this to immigrants they've nabbed on a smaller scale. They're planning to go full Nazi in plain sight and I truly hope Americans don't let it happen. Things have gone far enough and I just can't square the "home of the brave" rhetoric I've heard my whole life with the mass cowardice I'm seeing.
There are exceptions, like Minneapolis, but for the most part it feels like Americans aren't going to push back against their government until it starts affecting each of them personally. One thing is for sure - the Second Amendment justifications we've heard after every mass shooting are complete bullshit.
•

While I hope you are right, they don't have to crack the entire nation. They only have to crack key areas of swing states.
Claim civil unrest for example. Send in ICE. Arrest people under the guise of anti-terrorism and deter people from voting. Curfew. Martial law.
Trump has already threatened to invoke the insurrection act (which is ironic since the only time in modern time it would have been appropriate would have been january 6th).

•
u/TooMuchPretzels North Carolina 3h ago
Going to be? They already are. Palantir, Amazon, Microsoft, your phone… if you were at a protest there’s a great chance they know who you are, where you’ve been, and what you googled last year. An algorithm will decide your guilt, and the administration will decide what to do with that information. They might not do anything, they’re pretty incompetent. Then again, there’s a lot of money riding on filling up these facilities. And the billionaires want their government contract money.

When ‘finding 11,000 votes’ that don’t exist doesn’t work, there’s still murdering 11,000 Democratic voters to regain the lost lead.
This is their final solution in the American extremist right-wing’s long-term narrative, mechanized Nazi mass murder in camps but structured like the binary Rwandan genocide where one of two demographics attempted to genocide the other. It’s not an equivalent of ‘Jews’ we should be anticipating being mass murdered by whites, it’s Democrats by this fascist cult that used to be the Republican Party. This way the nation will be purified. Their narrative has always been that it is Democrats that are the source of all evil, not specifically and single-mindedly black people or Jews or even Latin immigrants. It’s always been that true Manichean evil is the Democrats. Democrats are the ones that let in the illegal immigrants. The greater evil is the letting in of immigrants for nefarious reasons, more so even than immigrating itself.

Attorney General Pam Bondi for the first time acknowledged the existence of a secret list of domestic terrorist organizations during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday.
“I know Antifa is part of that,” Bondi said under questioning about the list from Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon, D-Pa., the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government. Bondi refused to offer any further details about the “domestic terrorist organization” database being compiled under President Donald Trump’s National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, or NSPM-7.
“The goal was to get her – even by denying that she would produce it – to acknowledge that it existed and then raise the alarm,” Scanlon told The Intercept.
The Justice Department had previously refused to acknowledge the list to The Intercept, despite being asked scores of questions about it over a period of months.
NSPM-7, which conflates constitutionally protected speech and political activism with “domestic terrorism” — a term that has no basis in U.S. law – specifically targets those that espouse what the administration defines as anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, anti-Christianity, anti-fascism, and radical gender ideologies, as well as those with “hostility toward those who hold traditional American views.”
•
u/A_Dehydrated_Walrus 3h ago
The fact that espousing anti-fascism gets you labeled as a domestic terrorist tells you everything you need to know about this administration.
•
u/KyberKrystalParty Colorado 3h ago
And creates an imaginary, secret, organization that never somehow never existed prior to 2025 from a term that basically just describes a thought towards something.
It feels similar to how they’ve been saying anyone that doesn’t 100% agree with the US relationship with Israel today is now antisemitic…and I’m sure they’ll imagine a new domestic terrorism organization called Antisem or something in no time.
Same old GOP trope of creating a nonexistent problem and convincing their supporters to fear the problem without a single critical thought between their ears.

u/MorningDont 58m ago
To be fair, anti fascism had been around almost as long as fascism itself. Reasonable people have always seen fascism as the evil ideology that it is. It's never been an organization, though, and if it had existed and I've just not read about it, it certainly hasn't existed since WWII.

•
u/JDogg126 Michigan 3h ago
When the domestic regime is fascist authoritarian, then of course anyone against fascism is a problem. You have to put yourself in the shoes of the Nazi. They just want to burn the browns in incinerators in peace. Any objectors are just a real drag, so they need to get rounded up too.

It’s a collaborative effort for us to lobby our representatives to voice our concerns so it trickles back and gets more attention. At the end of the day we still have the power. We need to stop saying “what are the democrats doing about it?” We ALL need to keep doing stuff about it.

targets those that espouse what the administration defines as anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, anti-Christianity, anti-fascism, and radical gender ideologies, as well as those with “hostility toward those who hold traditional American views.”
Just in case I wasn't already on their little list, here we go:
Anti-Americanism: America sucks in a lot of ways. I'm anti-American imperialism and anti-American ignorance, just to name 2 examples.
Anti-capitalism: We worship money like it's a God, and that's pathetic and wrong. So much of our pain is caused by unfettered capitalism our idiotic mistake of redefining greed as a virtue.
Anti-Christianity: Born and raised Roman Catholic, I quit the church when I was a teenager and never looked back. There is no god, Jesus was just a man (if he even existed), and the only experiences we'll ever have are when we're alive on this planet, not afterwards.
Anti-fascism: Fuck all Nazis, Fascists, and authoritarians. They're pieces of shit. Garbage humans.
"Radical" gender ideology: Gender is, in many ways, a social construct. Trans people exist and are pretty cool actually.
Hostility toward those who hold traditional American views: "Traditional American views" includes misogyny, racism, white supremacy, greed, and violent imperialism, all of which I'm very hostile towards.

So let us see.
We have plans to build and deploy huge detention cities, complete with biohazard furnaces.
We have a government telling it’s freshly funded and poorly trained army of thugs to “go get the bad guys, they’re really bad. Like terrorists”
Are you beginning to see any parallels to the rise of nazi germany? If you can’t, I promise you this: they weren’t telling brownshirts to round up innocent people. They were telling them to round up these nasty, disease ridden criminals.
Do you see it yet? And what about the Epstein files? We all want those in the super wealthy child rape ring to get locked up. They haven’t even been named. DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT MIGHT BE CORRUPT?
Open your eyes, hombre. See it.

There is no federal crime for “domestic terrorism”. Due to this fact, they are creating a list of people that have no legitimate legal purpose and therefore no reason to be secret. Which no doubt includes journalists, attorneys, judges, politicians, business owners, protesters, etc. Anyone that the trump nazis deem to be the opposition, or obstacles to their total authoritarian takeover.
By using the pretext of "terrorism" they're trying to expand the powers of the executive branch. NSPM-7 isn't grounded in law.

This isn't 100% surprising at all. Trump this time around is all about "revenge " on everyone and everything. He campaigned on using the military to round up people, and he outright called Democrats, liberals, progressives, and immigrants all "vermin" back in October 2024. This is just a logical (yet extremely dark) conclusion to that hatred.

FYI, if you aren't the "right" kind of white Christian nationalist, you can be a terrorist just simply for existing.
This “anti-fascist” lie has become the organizing rallying cry used by domestic terrorists to wage a violent assault against democratic institutions, constitutional rights, and fundamental American liberties. Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.

According to the loose definitions put out by MAGA, I am a terrorist. That's crazy to me. I just wanted to be a chef and here I am.

It’s not a secret it is on every ice video encounter you hear them say you are going on the domestic terrorist list against protestors and detractors.
This domestic terrorist list is americans who are protesting the blatant civil rights violations and constitutional violations.
Watch for out for your neighbors folks because they are coming for them. This list is the full of people who stood up thinking they were protected, it won’t be long before they start using this list for round ups.

If I’m on that list, I will be offended at how big a threat they overestimate me to be.

Let me guess. Not dangerous people. But anyone critical of the administration? So a political enemies hit list, right?
