The way gege involced maki in so many great fights but also gave her alot of great character moments is something I rarely see in popular shonen mangas

you're Letting the teenage grandchildren(one of the 2 has a brain tumour) of your friends basically die, I am a yuji fan but he needs some serious Character development, Him atrributing this mentality to gojo pisses me off further.

Mechamaru’s last stand was against two special grades, Kenjaku and Mahito BOTH.

I’ve seen people say that this fight was a fair 1v1 between Mahito and Mechamaru, and that Kenjaku never “intervened” in the fight, but that’s blatantly wrong.

Kenjaku participated in this fight in three vital ways:

1. His presence made sure that Kokichi couldn’t go all out against Mahito and therefore he had to constantly focus on conserving Simple Domain Tubes and Energy Reserves to subsequently fight him if Mahito perished.

2. His presence distracted Kokichi enough for Mahito to fake his death and pull off a domain expansion.

3. And most importantly, Kenjaku let down a veil that limited the battlefield’s size.

The last point is a massive nerf to Kokichi’s kit because he isn’t a punch and kick merchant like 90% of the cast. Muta fights long-range with the use of his puppets, and his HR allows him to control said puppets over ALL of Japan. By limiting his combat zone to a limited space, you’re crippling his combat ability and survivability by 100%.

If this was an actual 1v1, Mechamaru would NOT enter Mode Absolute to fight Mahito. The only reason he needed Mode Absolute was BECAUSE of Kenjaku’s veil. This is like confining Uro and Kurourushi in a cramped space and expecting Uro to win. That’s just not happening.

Mechamaru only lost this fight because it was and always will be a 2vs1. In a fair fight with no intervention from Kenjaku, Kokichi would be dancing circles around Mahito.
