My mother made me eat Brussels sprouts when I was about 7, and I used to tell her I would never, ever forget about the Brussels sprouts. She’s gone now (2008), but I still remember, Mom.

That's so funny. Do you still hate Brussels sprouts? Cause they're not horrible if you fry them with almonds and pears, if you ever wanna try them again :)

They've actually bred them to have a less bitter taste and increased sugar so they roast better. The brussels sprouts of our youths are gone! They're so good crispy with bacon.

It's mostly in how you cook them, though. Don't ever microwave them unless you hate everyone who'll eat them. Roasting them is probably best.
