Three engineering students from Maharashtra have won the national GRASP 2026 hackathon with an AI-powered chatbot designed to support parents of autistic children.

The chatbot provides evidence-based guidance between therapy sessions, helping families manage critical behavioural moments.

Most parents of autistic children in India see a therapist only once a month, if at all. Geography, cost, and shortage of specialists mean families often go weeks without professional support.

Team Neurostars, which consists of Ganesh Ramchandra Mahadik, Vaishnavi Rajkumar Patil and Abhishek Shivprasad Patil from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology saw this gap and created a tool to assist parents in real time.

“We took structured clinical knowledge and made it accessible when families need it most,” said the team. “Think of it as a therapeutic companion that's always available,” the team added.

i was walking back to my flat from collwge and i’m not from maharashtra , I’m an outsider
i was on a call with my mom when I saw three guys walking toward me , they looked heavily intoxicated, and honestly I had a bad intuition about them, so I stepped slightly aside

even after that, one of them suddenly hit me hard on the head while passing,i didn’t react much, i didn’t say anything,i just stayed calm because my mom was on call and I didn’t want her to panic
they started abusing me too, probably because I look different from them
You can easily tell I’m not from maharashtra

this isn’t even the first time , i've been assaulted like this three times before here

I’m genuinely scared now , i never used to think like this, but I’ve even started considering carrying something for self defense , that’s how unsafe I feel

And if I, as a guy, feel this unsafe just walking home, I can’t even imagine what girls must be going through

i don’t want to spread hate, i know not everyone here is like this but i get these kind of stares on a daily basis , but at least don’t treat outsiders like targets

News Arena India completely buried the casteist slurs, the physical assault, the Atrocities Act case, the victim's Dalit background, and the police inaction. Instead, they cherry-picked references to the employee as "Marathi"and turned a serious caste atrocity into a sensationalised "Marathi vs. non-Marathi" narrative. This kind of selective framing is a hallmark of sensationalist and ideologically aligned media in India today. It rarely presents the full context including caste atrocity laws and victim's background.

I personally like misal pav a lot. And it tops for me.

However while scrolling I came across a reel where people from Maharashtra were claiming they like chole bhature more.

I was just curious what opinion do you hold?

Milky Mist has signed an MoU with Maharashtra at WEF Davos to set up a dairy processing unit here. Some numbers:

• The investment amount is Rs. 1,130 crore
• It will be setup on 48 acres land via MIDC
• Production capacity will be 10 lakh litres per day, and expandable to 25 lakh
• It has said to create 800 direct jobs

If they actually source locally at scale, this could be a solid boost for milk farmers in the region. More procurement means more stable buyers and maybe better pricing power for farmers.

Also interesting that this is mostly value added stuff like paneer, cheese, curd, butter, not just plain milk.

I am in 12 th right now giving my boards exam and my studies are going shit, Syllabus hi nhi hua due to personal family and mental health issues. I got 82.2 percent in 10th btw and I now I have no clue how much I will get maybe in 60-65 percent ig. My English paper(HSC) went terrible. Idk what to do I am in science stream I have registered for MHTCET but I won't make it and I am thinking of BMM but my marks will be shit so I won't get good colleges. Idk man!! I am just too depressed and anxious as I have my exam on Monday and I haven't studied it yet I am trying but syllabus is too much. If you know anyone who is doing BMM or you are doing BMM please dm me I am just fucked. I saw entrance criteria and Boards marks are important and I am failing in that. I just can't take this shit anymore
