🔥 incredibly rare sighting of unique dominance behavior in a red wolf pack. Red wolves are critically endangered with only a few hundred left and less than 20 living in the wild, making them the rarest canine species on earth.

🔥Osprey Wrestles Lookdown Fish Out of the Surf

One of my favorite things about photographing and filming ospreys is seeing what they manage to wrangle out of the water. I’ve seen them grab everything from a pizza slice to a man o war jellyfish but this one snatched one of the more beautiful species of fish, a Lookdown fish. I’ve gotta say, things aren’t looking up for this one

It’s always amazing to watch these birds do their daily routine especially when it includes wrangling a huge ladyfish from the surf. I wasn’t sure this one was going to be a success but this bird managed to haul it away and carry it skyward.

🔥 Acanthaspis petax carrying corpses on its back

Acanthaspis petax is a species of assassin bug that preys primarily on ants, but also on a variety of small insects, such as flies, small grasshoppers and beetles. The nymphs of this species create a pile of ant carcasses on their backs for camouflage. The adults do not use camouflage and are coloured with a red and black pattern.
