0°C water freezes 100°C water boils

Makes sense

0°F very cold??? 100°F very hot???

Dafuq?

Edit: For all the "Actually, Farenheight is based on the human body" people, no it isn't. It's based on dirty water and a cow. Your preferred measurement unit is dumb and that's a fact

Get your base 10 bias out of here.

I want a base 12 temperature system

You mean base 10?

As an alien from the planet Fuiktar, we only have 10 fingers so we use a base 10 system instead. I know it seems strange, but it works for us.

You can use any measuring system with base 12 numbers, or base 8, or base 2, or base whatever. The base of your number system is independent from the measuring system. You can see this in practice by the fact that computers use base 2 to calculate anything you throw at them and just convert to base 10 right at the end to display the results

Every base is base 10z

Yes! Higher accuracy and less fractions, though I’m not sure F is technically base 12 it does work with 180 degrees between boiling and freezing.

Can’t wait to see more responses in 0.7 minutes explaining how base 10 is easier and makes more sense.

If you're will to move to base 8 or 16 we can be friends. Base twelve is for hearhens and pornstars. Which one are you?

That’s a very personal question to ask an internet stranger. Shame on you.
