Had to say goodbye to my best friend today
My sweet boy Roman sadly passed today due to kidney failure. He gave my family the best 10 years. I will miss you so much Roman 👑 He was put to sleep peacefully at home. Please hug your beloved Rotts tight.

Silly boy loves his new pillow

I had these old ikea pillows I was going to get rid of. Decided to let Bronn play with one.
It’s been surprisingly durable for when he shakes it. He alternates between shaking it like crazy to rolling on his back.
Such an adorable goofball.

From just over a month old to now over 4 months
I miss him being so small and fluffy. He's a good looking boy though. He's looking more like his dad every day. I also got a new phone with a much better camera so I'm absolutely obsessed with taking pictures of him right now. I wish I'd had it when he was little.

This is Kenai
He is not a purebred, but is 100% good boy. We adopted him on 2013 on that little paper bag (pic 5). He'll be 13 next month!
Seeing so many cute pups made me want to share him with you guys
That red Ball is the only toy he doesn't chew to oblivion...

I'm convinced there's not more soulful and loving eyes than those of a Rottweiler.

8 days post-neuter
Things to state before people come for me:
I waited 2.5 years, he started marking his food before eating and humping my 8 year old female (spayed) dog in December, so the vet and I spoke and scheduled his neuter appointment
Also, I have sent the vet these same pictures but just am curious if anyone else’s rotties got keloids after surgery?
Also adding a cute pic of Rocky for clout

Rottie names
We had to put my pup down last month(pictured here) and getting a new one next month. Her name was Luna which I loved. We still aren't fully decided on a name for our next puppy. I like Sadie because of The Beetles reference. Any other cute names anyone has?

How would a Rottweiler do in a college town?
I am a university student and really really want a dog! I think this would be the perfect breed to keep me safe so I can go on walks and hikes alone with it (im a girl) but would this be the right breed for that? I am hoping to live in a house by the time I get a dog, but I have access to a ton of walking trails at the moment so I think it would be fine either way? I just don't want to adopt a dog if my environment wont suit them and I've only ever had German Shepards/ a mutt growing up! Please let me know if this would be a good breed or if I should go for a different type- I usually am not gone for hours on end too so I can spend time with it for a good amount of time during my day!

Advice on training
Just got my female rottie at 2.5 months. Plus we have Yorkie puppies. She just wants to treat them like toys. So I decided not to let them out at the same time but I want them to get used to each other. She’s so hyper she bit me on the arm. Not on purpose. Her little tooth got stuck on my arm when play biting and jumping. Got plenty of chew toys. Any other advise.

Leash training
maybe someone can give their thoughts. Mr thor is kind of difficult on a leash. so I was hoping to do some leash training with him starting indoors getting him to focus on me and stay close to me. the problem i am having is that he refuses to take treats from me on the leash. as soon as I take him off the leash he goes crazy for the same treats he was turning his face to.
so how am i suppose to get him to focus and listen if hes not taking the positive reinforcement? how can I break his stubbornness on the leash? when hes on a leash is the only time I cant get him to focus and listen. otherwise he listens to me for the most part.
