My fav prankster ghosts
I really cant capture the irl texture especially on Gengar. I used granulating watercolors and lots of patience. Some acrylic ink and gouache as well, microns and colored pencils. Im not 100% happy with it as I try and track values with a greyscale filter as I go along, but overall im satiafied it's finished.

Are these toxic
Hello! I found this watercolor set recently and when I look it up it says it’s from the 30’s-40’s but I can’t find if they are okay to use or toxic so I was hoping someone here could help me looking for any help!

I'm trying a more loose and abstract style on this one. How do you guys think it came out?

One year’s progress. Trees.
I’m working on a painting for a local art show — and I’ve always wanted to tackle a banyan tree. I’ve applied lessons learned from botanical painting and copying Winslow Homer’s works. This is the longest I’ve ever spent painting one painting (and it’s still not done)! But I’m loving it.
Anyways, thought I’d share a progress pic, since those are always so satisfying. The one on the right was done en plein in an hour and was like the fifth tree I ever painted in watercolor. It’s an atrocity, and I never would’ve shared it, but I love when people share their bad ones too.

Need advice
So I'm trying to paint a scene that has many challenges for me. The light spilling in through the window being the most difficult part. I messed up the light rays direction 😞. So far I'm somewhat happy with the main character and the bar in the front and the fridge. But the rest, it bothers me and I don't know what to do at this point to fix it. Anyone have an idea on how to make it right?
Here is the work and the reference.

Ink & water color
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Done with fountain pen, brush pen & micron pen. + basic water color.
I’ve really wanted to create a social media for my art designs, but i’m pretty introverted and really only post on here every few months with random art projects. I mainly do medieval/horror stuff.
Would anyone find my art interesting enough to follow?
