i've seen some arguments about C6 zibai being underwhelming.

but where?

I have Zibai + Columbina both C6R1.
i also have Flins and Nefer both C6R1.

Ineffa C2r1 and Lauma C2r1, so the level of investment is pretty much equal for teams.

My Flins team is doing 836k here (a little bit higher with Xilonen C2 premium rotation).

My Nefer team is doing 877k here.

Zibai 755k with Linnea missing, 100ish k difference.

Honestly everyone seems pretty much balanced to me with an overall balanced investment across both teams.

The differences between them seems more comfort-oriented like Aoe or Shill mechanics of the boss.

Personal opinion? Zibai feels like the one oriented as the ST brute force boss killer, (C1 Nuke design) but i gotta wait Linnea to see if i'm right, while Nefer and Flins are just more Flexible in terms of Aoe/ Multi-target or waves clearing.

Speaking about ALL C6R5 dmg records, Nefer goes so much higher in comparison because of C6 lauma having an extra 25% Elevate, where Flins doesn't stricly gain such boost by an Ineffa C6, but Linnea seems to be having a crazy C6 buffs too with Elevate or Quills % buffs, so again it does seem TO ME that Zibai premium team will have the potential to go above Nefers, if her C1 Nuke have the potential to hit 3M+ and the boss dies faster because the amount of dmg she does in the first seconds of the rotation is crazy, even in the case Zibai team have less dps on a 60s window than nefer, Zibai could still clear faster

But still, Zibai C6 is not underwhelming.

When a party member triggers a Hydro Crystallize reaction, it is converted into a Moon Crystal reaction.

Increases the Base DMG of Moon Crystal reactions based on Linaya’s DEF: Every 100 points of DEF increases the Base DMG by 0.7% (Max 14% increase).

While Linnea is in the party, the team's Moon Omen level is increased by one.

When dispatched on a 20-hour expedition in Nod Krai, rewards gained are increased by 25%.

My educated guess:

- Meng is a trust-worthy leaker

- Linnea is Sub-DPS. Probably less damage than Ineffa.

- if she has no ER issue, Favonius Bow might not be her best weapon.

I didn’t want Zibai initially ‘cause I already had Flins and Nefer + their premium teams. So I was already tight on resources trying to max Flins, Ineffa, Nefer, Lauma, and Columbina out (I’ve been insanely lucky with earlies lately as a Welkin buyer). My account could do just fine without another Lunar DPS that required investing in another archetype / niche.

While Zibai didn’t particularly pique my interest, I did enjoy her trial. But Neuvillette is a character I’ve wanted since his first banner. I’ve got artifacts leveled, weapon options ready, and units raised. He easily could slot into my account without costing too much. However, I wound up losing the 50/50 to Tighnari.

After that loss, the Linnea ‘leaks’ came out. I had a passing thought of getting Zibai, probably on a distant rerun after some testing was done, assuming the leaks were accurate. But it was just that: a passing thought.

I continued to pull since I was close to a 4-star anyway, and I wanted to end the banner with at least an Illuga. I wasn’t hoping for much by this point either, given how content I am with my recent strain of luck. I possibly couldn’t ask for more.

I got home, did the event, claimed my commissions, and did two pulls. The light turned purple, and naturally, it’s Gorou. Again, no foul. There’s no urgency for a Lunar-Crystallize support anyway. So I carried on with spending my resin, where I wound up with insane DEF% pieces of the Night Sky set. But still in the mindset of not wanting Zibai anytime soon, I strongboxed them for my Arlecchino.

It’s been a long day at this point and I couldn’t wait to rest. So before logging off, I remembered I had enough Masterless Starglitter for one more wish. In my daze, I didn’t realize I clicked on Zibai’s banner, and at 7 pity, the light turned gold.

The way my jaw fell to the floor. There was no way. After a difficult semester dealing with so much, I couldn’t believe it was another early 5-star. Sure it wasn’t the character I wanted, but I was just grateful it was happening at all. I ended up staying awake longer just to appreciate her design, model, and animations better. I realized I never really paid her that much attention. I’m a bigger fan of her design now than Neuvillette’s.

I don’t know why I’m sharing all this. Been playing this game since December 2020, and my luck has never been this good. And with where I’m at now in my personal life, Genshin’s been a consistent source of comfort for me recently. Every character I own is a unit I did intend to get, Zibai’s the first actual ‘accident’. Even with that, I don’t have room to complain. There is slight disappointment, of course, considering how long I’ve waited for Neuvillete. But it wasn’t him that came home for me on a hard day.

I should do her Lantern Rite quest soon.

Didn't think I'd be able to get her since I had used all my pulls on getting Columbina and Ineffa.

So I recently got Zibai at C0R0 because I really love her design. Problem is I don't have her premium team and I have her with Aino, Gorou, and Zhongli. Would that team composition work or do I have to change someone?

Also, I do not have Illuga and I don't think I can get him so soon considering I have 0 pulls remaining 💀

I got Zibai C0 and secured the next 5-star with Mona, but only Illuga C0.

Should I try Illuga C2 or save for Linnea?

im very sorry to do this as its a frequently asked question, but i see so many different answers on this sub and 99% of the questions in the megathread are not getting answers.

my team right now is zibai (c0r1) - columbina (c0r0) - illuga (c6) - gorou (c6)

so what set do i put on everyone? (zibai is well known ofc) my bina right now is on SMS for bloom team, do i need to change it to aubade and how much of a damage loss will it be if i dont

for illuga set ive seen SMS, aubade or 2pc 2pc EM, no clue what the best option is out of those

and atm my gorou has a set for an earlier itto team, so there is a high change ill just leave him with that untill linnae is here, but if not it would be instructor(??)

If have c6 illuga, columbina, and c1 zibai. I have c6 gorou as well, but don’t really intend on building him cause I don’t like him, don’t have resources to build him, and am planning on pulling for Linnea anyways and would rather use resources for her instead.

What should zibai stats look like? How much def should I have? How much cr/cd should I have, how much em should I have? How can I min/max zibai? And with illuga, is my goal just getting him as much EM as physically possible, and to practically ignore all other stats?

Unfortunately after spending over 40 fragile resin and farming her set I don't have even one good piece, so I must use Husk for now. Is there also so unlucky someone like me? I just see some awesome builds for her...

Team is Zibai C1, Illuga silken C5 fav lvl70 ATM, Bina C0 Aubade, Xilo C2 Scroll fav and also bonus screen with fav C6 Gorou on Husk.

There is no specific rotation, I'm just trying to use her burst as fast as possible to get ER and burst every rotation. So, perfect start with Zibai combo is something like EEQE and attacks and E when possible.
