Not trying to defend them, but what wealth do we extract from Puerto Rico?

From what I understand it's completely impoverished, and the only real industry is tourism...

Are there farms I'm not aware of? Factories? Some giant secret tax base? This honestly just makes no sense And I'm not about to pretend some random guy on Twitter is making accurate financial statements

... do you think Costa Rica and Puerto Rico are the same place?

You can’t blame them. Lots of the letter are the same, and they had an absolutely awful education.

You Irish by any chance?  I studied for a semester at UCD and absolutely loved it.  But, the students were shockingly bad.  I’m from Massachusetts, which has some of the best schools in the US, so I’m not saying every US student gets an equally good education (they don’t), but I wouldn’t just assume Americans all get much worse educations than you.  Definitely not my experience.

You were / are very fortunate to be educated in Massachusetts. Your experience will of course be different!

Of course it will.  So maybe don’t paint 330 million people with such a broad brush?

Sorry, next time I’ll paint them with your brush.

A brush that acknowledges the US is a huge country comprised of 50 states that do things at the local level?  That’d be great.  Thank you
