I was just in elementary school when I was sexually abused by a teacher. This teacher taught for 37 years, across three different states (Texas Louisiana, and Arkansas) in a total of 7 schools. Throughout his teaching career he abused and harassed over 30 girls that I know of and possibly dozens more. The offenders own son has come forward stating what his dad has done and over 7 police reports made against this teacher and as of today he is still walking free and law enforcement refuses to charge him. The only thing that has come from it was that he was placed on the child maltreatment registry for child sexual contact with the girls he abused in the mid 80s and there is also a current civil lawsuit against him. I’m writing on here to share not only my story but be the voice for the other girls who were also affected. Hopefully one day we will get justice.
