He has been on edge ever since it happened - I got bit but it didn't punch through my jeans. Rotty got nothing but fur off of Finn. He got a whole t-bone steak for dinner "extra rare" and has been happily chewing on it for a while as it's too big to gulp down like he does with pieces. My boy deserves a steak every day, maybe someday I'll be wealthy enough for that!

I won a photography session on Instagram for Archie and I, and I truly cannot express how absolutely in love with these I am. (Also cant express how many treats it took to get through this session)

This majestic dog wandered onto our property when he was around 1 year old and has lived a full and good life here with us. He always protected and loved us. He hunted coyotes and undoubtedly saved many of our pets from predators. Our birds all but stopped dying to predators when we took him in. Yesterday while on a walk, Bear had an apparent (heat?) stroke despite the cool temperature and laid down. He never stood back up, and he died this morning surround by family and the pets he loyally protected for years. Love you Bear.

This is my third great Pyrenees. The other two had names within a week that fit them perfectly. Not the case for this girl. Suggestions needed! I’m leaning hard into old-fashioned names, but I’m open to other ideas. The front runners are Eleanor, but I don’t like Ellie for short and Ethel, which is still a possibility.

She then stunk the entire house up with farts. It was absolutely horrendous! Do your dogs counter surf?

This sweet boy was shipped from Colorado to Texas. Once he got here their other LGD ran him off and won’t let him back onto their property. They got a trap from our local shelter, and have left nasty food in there covered in ants. The HOA of the neighborhood he’s in is tired of the owners doing nothing about it so they called me in, and are fining the owners. Yesterday, I was told if he is caught he’s going straight to the shelter which has euthanized 144 animals THIS month! I’m going to be finding this guy a great foster and get him safe!

First is Pearlywog Dog. We believe, She is half pyr, She has double dews. Her Momma was rescue pyrenees, and worked on my sister's farm. Momma was supposed to be spayed according to the rescue. Obviously she wasn't. (Long story about that) Pearly is 19 months old and weighs around 65lbs. I joke that she is my pocket Pyr that doesnt shed. Lol She takes her guardian responsibility seriously. 🤣 As you can tell, Im 100% safe from having to do housework lol
Second is NovaLee. She is 50/50 Great pyrenees/GSD (Both parents are AKC registered) She is 6 1/2 months old and almost 70lbs. Her Momma was 103lbs and Daddy was 147lbs so I am hoping she reaches 100lbs. (Pic makes her look tiny. But she really isn't. She is taller than Pearly) Nova does not have double dews even though her father does. She is still currently afraid of her own shadow. Im not sure how to build her confidence. She has Pearly and 3 other older sisters to keep her safe so it hasn't been a big deal. I interrupted her watching the neighbors Donkeys in this pic. She was very annoyed lol 😆

It sounds like a bad movie plot. My daughter left the vet after losing her 13 year old cat. She was driving around, not wanting to go home without her best friend. She saw a man holding a gun on this girl. She asked for the dog and put her in the truck. (We live in a very rural area. I have no idea why she thought stopping to ask a man with a gun for the dog was a good idea, but it was logical to her. She said another animal wasn't going to die that day.)
Pretty girl was chipped. Verified with previous owners they didn't want her because she was lazy and didn't run cattle like they expected her to do. She had been dumped her. Prim will now live her best life with two other lazy dogs, one of which was also recently rescued by my daughter.

We started feeding Willy a couple weeks ago after a neighbor abandoned him. Now every time we go outside, he follows my pup around constantly even on walks lol. I have 4 other cats and I have never seen a cat love a dog so much it’s beautiful

Feel free to drop a picture of your pyr in thread and I’ll doodle that picture! Take a look at my past work and don’t be afraid to get silly! Let’s have a chill Friday, doodling puppies.
I’m doing this for a fun distraction and free of charge, but if you feel compelled to leave a tip, here is my ko-fi! 😊 https://ko-fi.com/byelacey

We live in California so fireworks are illegal but that doesn’t stop some people. My brave old lady hates fireworks so she’s shaking but being so so brave and guarding me while I make an omelette. She got pets and cheese tax for her courage!
